Wasn't there some scandal report about how CNN agreed not to report some things in exchange for being allowed in country? I forgot all the details, but it was little things like rapes, mass murders and torture; stuff no one would be interested in reading.

Not only the scandal that CNN held back news to get access, Amanpour made a statement when it was clear that Bush had won the election, something like, "how could we let this happen?" She is anything but an objective reporter, and her mouth has gotten her in trouble more than once. She should be concerned about job security.

The NYT's reporter, John Burns, called out all his compadres who were engaged in sucking up to Saddam. It's a fascinating read. I found it through Andrew Sullivan's blog.
