Since this is a 9th Circuit ruling, it can go to the SCOTUS. Floria redux.

They have also stayed the order....What's that mean? Isn't it sorta like saying . . . You can't have the election but go ahead and waste the time and money as if you were gonna have it until we rule "for sure" later.

This delay will insure the Davis recall, and the defeat of BustamanteI think you're right. What could better unite a fractious GOP than a common contempt for the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals?
To: Sabertooth
The SCOTUS will deny hearing it I'll bet.

Since the advent of "Absent-T" balloting, NO VOTER can be disenfranchised! (unless you're a member of the US Military, that is)
Thank God we have the majority in SCOTUS. This will overturned.
To: Dog
Same here, Dog.
To: Ragirl
"Minority voters would be disenfranchised due to old equipment." What's up with these people? They don't like the "old" equipment and they downright hate the "new" computerized voting.
Just what kind of voting do they want? Would big pictures of the candidates that the voter would circle be okay with them?
To: Sabertooth
Hope your right!

The ACLU argued that blacks and Hispanics are not as smart as regular white folk.
The Court agreed.
Unfu%^ingbelievable.

This delay will insure the Davis recall, and the defeat of Bustamante. The Democrats and the 9th Circuit have overplayed their hand.
I hope you're right. Let's hope the overwhelming majority will be pi$$ed. Clinton did this. That's what he's there for.

What's the likelihood this will get overturned - and then go forward just in time for the illegals to get their licenses and the ability to vote?

I recall Congressman Billybob saying that SCOTUS will probably act on an emergency basis on this one. It will probably be overturned quickly.

Damn. What's the reasoning? What Democrats always think:
The peeples are just too plain stupid to figure out how to use punch card ballots.
No, WAIT!
What they are truly saying is MINORITIES are just too plain stupid to figure out how to use punch card ballots.
Sad thing is, these minorities don't recognize a blatantly racist decision when they see one.
To: Luis Gonzalez
The ACLU argued that minorities aren't smart enough to understand how to vote properly?
Then Gray Davis needs to be recalled because surely those same minorities didn't know what they were doing.
I'd be ashamed to have the ACLU tell me I was too stupid to vote.
