Why did they wait so long when this argument has been made since the beginning? How many millions of Republican dollars were spent before they finally dropped this bomb? That court is so corrupt.

DISENFRANCHISEMENT?????
How can that beeee?
Every minority, every VOTER, has been using this system for DECADES!
BEAM US UP, SCOTTY! Now would be a good time!

Not if the recall elecion is pushed to March of 2004. That is the presidential primary election, where EVERY Democrat will be at the polls, voting for their favorite Democrat presidential candidate. The GOP timed the submission of the recall papers specifically to avoid the March election. This is a HUGE win for the Democrats.
No, if the Recall is delayed until March, it will share a ballot with the referendum to overturn the Illegal Alien drivers' licenses and a racist MEChA seperatist, as well as eight or nine Democrat Presidential candidates who've promised to Amnesty Illegals if elected. Illegal Aliens will be the central issue on the March Primary in California, in the face of a furious electorate.

I'm moving out of California after October 7th but before next March, so I'm disenfranchised too! How about them apples? Who can I sue?

SCOTUS will not touch this and they should not, if they overturn this, it will be an election issue against Bush. Just leave it alone, don't play into the Dems hands, CA is not worth it, let the voters there sort it out.
To: Peach
oh, it's believable, all right... but would someone be kind enough to bring me a bucket? I'm gonna hurl.

So what you are saying is that if the electorate has time to give serious consideration to the recall, then it will behave more rationally?Who's to say the electorate is not thinking rationally to begin with, you?

I would love to agree with you, but I am highly skeptical that most voters would have a clue of who appointed these ridiculous, misguided judges.

Fox: Daryl Isa states "Give us 24hrs and we'll get something off to the Supreme Court"
To: Luis Gonzalez
Well it looks like the 9th court of appeals has proven that the white supremacists are right. Blacks and hispanics are dumber than whites. I suppose we all owe white supremacists an apology.

I am Governor Jerry Brown
My aura smiles
And never frowns
Soon I will be president
Carter power will soon go away
I will be Fuhrer one day
I will command all of you
Your kids will meditate in school
California Uber Alles
Uber Alles California
Zen fascists will control you
100% natural
You will jog for the master race
And always wear the happy face
Close your eyes, can't happen here
Big Bro' on white horse is near
The hippies won't come back you say
Mellow out or you will pay
California Uber Alles
Uber Alles California
Now it is 1984
Knock knock at your front door
It's the suede/denim secret police
They have come for your uncool neice
Come quitely to the camp
You'd look nice as a drawstring lamp
Don't you worry, it's only a shower
For your clothes here's a pretty flower
Die on organic poison gas
Serpent's egg's already hatched
You will crack, you little clown
When you mess with President Brown

Rush reporting he doesn't think USSC will take the case.
They refused to take the New Jersey case with Torrecelli saying it was a state's issue.

Unfortunately it's totally believeable. Especially with liberal judges in California.
Bubba greased some palms over the weekend. You can take that to the bank.

ON HOLD Federal appeals court blocks California's first-ever recall election from taking place on Oct. 7, ruling outmoded punch-card ballot machines could undermine voters.

We ARE sorting it out, but the feds are standing in the way. The next logical recourse is SCOTUS. Right is right, and should be done regardless of the consequences.

I am so disappointed.....Gallagher had a real shot at being Gov.
