Your reasoning lacks any logic.

Sure it does, he's saying quit trying to damn thousands of pit bulls & their owners for what a handful have done.

Pit Bulls should be destroyedFirst, pit bulls. Then Rotties. Then German Shepards. Then Dobies. Then Miniature Pinschers. Then weiner dogs.
I don't believe you guys when you say you want to stop at pit bulls.

Pretty much for the last couple of weeks. Do the search on Google News. "Pit Bull," and "Pitbull."
I don't make the news.

Why should anyone conclude that ownership of a particularly dangerous animal shouldn't be regulated? Should I be allowed to keep a coyote on my suburban lot just because I like the animal? I recognize that the problem is often the owner vs. the dog, but we often have to play the percentages for the safety of all. The comparison to gun ownership barriers is absurd, I advocate the 2nd ammendment. The difference is that a gun owner is a (generally) not an animal incapable of rational thinking.

One can only surmise that Dog phobics love to get nervous and spread the hysterics to others hoping the State will come down and make more laws for better living...
Kynophobia (also spelled cynophobia) is the irrational fear of dogs and rabies.

See post 13, I gave you credit for the month of September attacks because there have been to many. However your post seem to indicate that it was daily all the time and that just isn't true.

What are we supposed to do as a community? Well, back when Americans were free, taxes were low, and communities could not afford a Dog Catcher, a good citizen would get his firearm and exterminate the nuisence. The boys of the neighborhood were expected to drag the carcass away and bury it.

Then weiner dogs. I had one at the golf course this weekend. Very tasty. Ummm, mustard and celery salt over the onions.

I suppose you'd also support killing all teenagers and imprisoning their parents
No, I'd say it's pretty much just pitbulls and their owners.

Hmm, I didn't start searching until this month, so I can't say. Time will tell, I'd guess, but it's a heckuva lot of pit bull attacks out there, if you scroll down to additional pages from the Google News searches. I'll keep a watchful eye on this. If the attacks slow down, then the postings will slow down.
As I have said before, there is no pit bull that I trust. Not one. Your experience may be different. I'm certainly not alone in believing that pit bulls have no place in urban and dense suburban areas. Lots of cities are banning the things, and I expect that trend to continue.
Too bad for pit bull owners, I suppose, but good for the future potential victims.
As you may have guessed, I'm in favor of very strong laws regarding pit bulls.

Believe it or not I do understand your feelings, I don't particularly think that you should have them within the city limits either. As a responsible owner I have given them an 150 acre ranch to run on, I keep them from overwhelming human contact because they might get to excited, but I don't keep them from people all the time, because if you did that they might be more aggressive when people drive up or something.
We've had several family reunions at my house and my dogs played with the kids and didn't have any incidents. But truthfully I did keep an eye on them, I wouldn't be a responsible if I didn't.
It's unfortunate that you couldn't meet my dogs, you might not go away thinking that you could trust the breed. But I feel that you would go away thinking, those are pretty nice dogs.

I guess you never saw the movie Old Yeller. If you did you would've seen a pretty nasty dog, I believe he was part Retriever/Labrador. I may be mistaken. Look, any Bull dog owner knows there is some risk to having the dog, they would be fools not to. But any large dog carries the same potential risk.

I checked and say you had visited. Nice picture! It looks like my ex-neighbor's dog while he, the dog, was hauled off by animal control!

Well, tough guy, I'm a pit bull owner. What are you going to do about it?
