If Mexicans one day become a majority in Texas and the Texas legislature votes to secede from the United States, would you shoot policemen and U. S. soldiers who try to prevent it?

That question is loaded, and YOU know it.
But yes, if the Legislature seceded I would have to say that is within their rights to do so.

Wether I would fight, well, that would depend on the exact circumstances.

Besides, what makes you think that they wouldn't be fighting on the side of the Legislature?

Remember, there were a LOT of ex-US Army officers in the Confederate Army.
