I was shocked that one of our local news stations presented they story in a fair and balanced, RKBA manner. I know it's hard to believe, but they really did.
Two fatally shot in altercation

A Midtown homeowner shot and killed two men who attacked him in his home late Saturday night, police said.
Wesley Stevens, 58, grabbed his revolver during an altercation with his attackers, firing several shots at them, said Sgt. Marco Borboa, Tucson Police Department spokesman.
The two men, in their mid-20s, entered Stevens' home, in the 4100 block of East North Street, through his open front door shortly after the arrival of a female acquaintance of Stevens', believed to be in her late teens or early 20s.
The men were friends with the young woman, but it is unclear what prompted the attack, Borboa said.
Police responding to a 911 call coming from the home at 10 p.m. found one of the attackers lying dead on the walkway in front of the home.
The uninjured woman fled from the home with the other man, who had been shot. She crashed her car into a concrete pylon near North Alvernon Way and East Grant Road as she sped from the scene, police said.
She ran to a nearby Fry's Food and Drug store and called 911 roughly around the time the police arrived at the scene of the shooting.
The man in the car was taken to University Medical Center, where he later died of gunshot wounds, Borboa said.
Stevens was treated and released from UMC for injuries he received during the fight. He had not been arrested Sunday. The incident is being reviewed by the Pima County Attorney's Office.
Borboa was unable to identify the woman. The identities of the dead men were being withheld pending notification of their families.
