Retired Gen. Wesley Clark immediately would become one of the top five candidates for the Democratic nomination if he enters the presidential race, according to the latest Gallup Poll.
As Gen. Clark prepares to announce his decision sometime this week about whether he will get into the contest, a national survey of nearly 500 Democrats for USA Today and CNN found that the former commander of NATO forces in Europe could take away nearly 10 percent of the vote from his potential rivals.

Good. Build him up, presstitutes. All the better to knock him down. When America get's a good look at this freak, Ross Perot will suddenly seem like a paragon of mental stability and humility.

All you need to know about Wes Clark is that he is an Arkansas friend of Bill Clinton's and went from a one-star to four-stars while Bubba was in office. How many two-stars regularly had lunch with The President? He's nothing but a Clinton butt-boy.

If you want a General atleast bring in a war hero not a political hack and Clinton appointee. Yeah he's smart so what? General Peter Dawkins USMA class of 60' made general at a younger age than Clark and was also a Rhodes Scholar. Unfortuately for the USA he left the service ( as a BG?) and never entered politics except for considering to run against Mario Cuomo. (Which by the way worried Mario.)Clarke is no real time hero but the press will make him one. I believe Clark is the kind of person that can really "talk" himself into getting a position. Yes he was Commander of NATO, but it was during a time when they were doing diddly squat.

From a Fox news site:
"The White House actually back in February apparently tried to get me knocked off CNN and they wanted to do this because they were afraid that I would raise issues with their conduct of the war," Clark told Newsradio 620 KTAR. "Apparently they called CNN. I don't have all the proof on this because they didn't call me. I've only heard rumors about it." [end]
Weak, general, weak. Tell two lies in the morning and call us.
From the same Fox news site: Clark claimed publicly that after the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks, he was pressured by the Bush administration to link the attacks directly to Iraq. When pressed on Fox News' Hannity & Colmes show, Clark refused to name White House names and instead fingered a public policy think tank in Canada. [end]
Better but not up to today's Democract standards. Watch two interviews with Kruz Bustamante (D, Mexico) and get back to us.

BWAHHAHAHAHAHAH!!!
That was a good one. In the general election, Wesley would be Krusched!

"Faster, better, cheaper ... "
I presume your tagline pertains to weapons development. If so, I don't care that they're not cheaper. Seeing terrorists turned into a pink mist is PRICELESS.
To: Poohbah
Actually, there may be a larger cabal at work. This crap is perhaps part of a triangulation being pulled on the American people, as a means to get hatellary rodhamster nominated for the democrat presidential race ... most of the nine mental defective democrats are anti-war on terrorism as waged by this administration, but Clark can be paraded as tough on enemies (remember his war from 15,000 feet, killing people who have been our allies for nearly a hundred year?). As hatellary's running mate, he would appease the democrats who are disgusted with the anti-war on terror spittlebreaths running for the nomination.

Hillary alert.
She is manipulating him like a sock puppet. This way she will look less responsible for driving all the other leftist losers out of the race. Then Clark will falter and graciously agree to be her VP.

The Democratic Party, looking to unseat a Republican President whom they regard as a bumbling fool who has led the country into a military quagmire, turns to a general noted for his incompetence, arrogance, and overweening ambition:

I agree you on Clark's role with Clinton. But I also believe that it's important to be able to state this almost HUGE blunder which certainly would have turned into an international incident, but only for the grace of two other more rational military commanders refusing to obey Clark's dingbat orders.
This episode should speak VOLUMES to people, but not if they don't know about it or don't remember it.
