Thanks for putting up the photos Mtngrl! It looks like you had a great time, so nice to see all the FReepers...I can hardly wait until CPAC! JustAmy and Mama_Bear, big FR's Finest hostess BUMP! Also, I'm happy to hear that things went smoothly (no "ants") and hope our picnic next week will be the same. Sorry to say that I don't recognize everyone in the pictures...names- we must have names :)!

Very interesting. I think we should contact the mayor of Fresno in support of his actions. That guy is showing some leadership.

I like how the hate group ,DU, is going to disrupt a family picnic ,and the hag at the city office wants to" prevent people from gettting hurt, by calling the people attening the family picnic, for purposes of eating and having fun, a hate group that would be mad if they were disrupted by a planned mob of lunitics. Oh I see a lefist's line of logic.

I did read the article in today's paper! Yowzers! My daughter called me this morning and asked if I had read the paper yet and when I said no, she said I had better sit down first. LoL! Front page! Wow. Just wow.

Friday night, I told the Bee reporter that war protestors get all the press; we were there every week so our military would know that they have support back home!!
I could find no bad press from the Bee.

A very relaxing setting with everyone enjoying the shade. And on the very left, we have Mr. Cookie King (FReep name Diamondhead) he brought some of the best cookies I have ever had, he should market his recipe (since I have a copy of it). We want to welcome you Mr. Diamondhead and your lovely wife to our group. And on their left is the hard working,dedicated FReeper- MTNGRL and then my pretty wife (who doesn't like her picture taken)- LadyinRed- I guess I am in the doghouse again!

Then we have the Tri-tip King, JKPhoto preparing the meat for the meal. IT WAS GREAT with his patented sauce.

You can see how serious these hard working ladies are to be sure every detail was just perfect. AND IT WAS.

A really great time was had by all and no disrupters showed their ugly mugs.

And just to show you that we are not a "hate group, this docile, easy going bunch didn't even douse anyone this year. We even held off on using the water pistols, although I was tempted.(Mtngrl, I still need to talk to you about your obvious pleasure in see me get doused.

Well crap! Looks like I missed a great party. I just read the paper (Fresno Bee) and saw that there even WAS a party. (Being in Lemoore I certainly COULD have gone, too.) That's what I get for not checking FR more often and closely at home. Hate Group, indeed. I'd have just hated to eat tri-tip, meet some of you and have some fun to boot. Mrs T-T would have liked the break as well...

DeGraff, a member of Peace Fresno, said he read messages on the Web site that stated Free Republic members were armed and "extremely violent."

UNBELIEVABLE! I though maybe you guys were exaggerating just a bit...(and thought the references to the HRC were references to Hilliary Rodham Clinton...was confused how she jumped in the frey LOL)

FOR THIS you left coast freepers deserve TRIPLE KUDOS!
