I want to know too. My son in law just returned from over there and has lost many friends there and in Afghanistan. He
thinks that those injured and killed should be on the news every night as America's heros. We should know they were real people, and matter.

I agree. I don't know why we don't discuss the wounded with the same reverence. Just because the bullet didn't kill them, it doesn't matter?

Lots here want to sweep their carcasses under the bed and ignore or hide it. It sickens me to see that happening. They toss off a "liberal drivel" and think they have done their good deed for the day with not a thought that there are those here who know better.
It does, however, make it easier to recognize which posters are "yellow dog", "love my chains" types and which have integrity and piercing intellect.
I hope and pray that your young man is able to find healing and comfort about the losses and the hurts he has seen and experienced. May God grant him favor. Many coming back cannot find work, either.
