These are specifically Republican endorsement.
He also received the endorsement of the California Chamber of Commerce, who gave their first and only endorsement since their existence for 100 years, and also the endorsement of the conservative business newspaper: Investor's Business Daily.

http://washingtontimes.com/upi-breaking/20030913-065546-4003r.htm Arnold wows state GOP convention
LOS ANGELES, Sept. 13 (UPI) -- Arnold Schwarzenegger got a hero's welcome at the California Republican convention Saturday despite some lukewarm sentiments from conservatives.
The actor made no mention of conservative candidate Tom McClintock as he urged the 1,500 delegates in Los Angeles to back his drive to oust the Democratic "regime of Gray Davis and Cruz Bustamante" in the Oct. 7 recall election.
Schwarzenegger also repeated his pledge to repeal a new law allowing illegal immigrants to obtain drivers licenses and vowed to bring state spending under control.
Several delegates told United Press International they hoped McClintock would withdraw from the race and back Schwarzenegger. But some conservatives continued to resist, saying they doubted Schwarzenegger's ability and didn't want him to take their support for granted.
McClintock, a veteran state lawmaker from Thousand Oaks, was scheduled to speak to the convention Saturday night.

It would appear, Calfornia Republicans are committing mass suicide.
Not a pretty sight.
To: DoughtyOne
RINO is, I think, a misnomer. They are conservative in name (or claim?) only. They are, however, true blue Republicans.

It's time for a change...GO ARNOLD!

(McClintock is my first choice, but given the numbers I'm voting for Arnold.)
To: DoughtyOne
I see you're still confused about life. Tough luck.
To: FairOpinion
Yeah, so what? I never did like appeals to authority! Lots of numbers, but the only numbers that count are at the ballot box. There'll be some things we'll agree upon, but this ain't one of 'em!

You will rue the day, California elects an immoral, lying (I have no memory of articles 20 and 30 years old), name-calling (you Prop. 54 people are right-wing crazies) leftist. I hope you are remembered for your disservice to constitutional principles and moral principles
