BUSH'S HERO KILLED IN FIREFIGHT

September 13, 2003 -- An Army special forces soldier who shook hands with President Bush last year while he was being honored for his role in the war on terror was killed in Iraq yesterday.

Master Sgt. Kevin Morehead, 33, was one of two U.S. soldiers killed in a pre-dawn firefight in the town of Ramadi, officials said.

Mrs. Morehead,you have conducted yourself with grace and dignity through what must an incredibly painful time.Please know the respect and admiration we have for your husband, Master Sgt Kevin Morehead. We are indebted to your husband for his service and his sacrifice.And we are indebted to you and your family for bearing such a grievous burden for the cause of freedom.We will never forget.

Ma'am,
Please accept my heartfelt condolence for your loss. I lost some good friends during the first Gulf War and that hurt just as much as this loss. Every loss is hard to take, but I know I wouldn't have had one regret if I had to give my life during my 20+ years of service and there's no doubt in my mind that Kevin felt the same way. Kevin will be missed by all of us. Take care of yourself and God Bless you and your family.
