Al Jazeera aired new footage of Osama bin Laden today along with audiotapes. You know, the usual stuff. Called Bush evil ... the great Satan ... a warmonger. All the same stuff we heard last night at the Democratic presidential debates.

Did you watch the nine Democrats debate last night? One of the candidates was wearing a Darth Vader helmet. Then I realized, that was just Al Sharpton’s hair.

Democratic presidential candidate Al Sharpton said that blacks are tiring of the Democratic Party and it has to stop treating blacks as their mistress. Sharpton explained that a "mistress is where they take you out to have fun, but they can’t take you home." Was that really necessary? To explain what a mistress is to Democrats? If anyone knows the definition of a mistress, it’s Democrats.

Finally. He's been such a Bush basher lately. I bet people have complained. He's a hard-core libbie, but he does have a sense of fairness that most libbie journalists don't have.

Brit Hume has a short humor segment at the very end his daily show, and most of the time he features Leno telling a joke from his monologue from the previous night. The vast majority of the time, that joke blasts Dems, leftists, or Arab terrorists.

This was funny...but also so sad. Only in America can a Democrat (Carter) ask for the assistance of the Soviets (twice) to help in the ouster of a Republican president. Only in American can another Democrat (Clinton) ask for the help of the Chinese to defeat another Republican. And now, only in America can this same party, again, appeal to our enemies to defeat GW Bush. It's sad...it's not enough to get the black vote, the Hispanic vote, or even the felon vote; now they are practically campaigning for the "enemey of America" vote.
