Its too bad Ed Koch can't run for Governor Of California! :( He would be a Democrat I would be happy to cross party lines to vote for.

You know, there are a lot of things to be critical of with Arnold, but to just make things up which are not true and then throw them out is not good for Republicans (although it is typical behavior for DemonRats)(maybe you are really a DemonRat).

Arnold has always been a registered Republican. He supported and worked with Pres Reagan.

Ohio, if thats where you're from, doesn't have the same demographics as Cal. The last conservative to win here was R.R. - 35 years ago. Pete Wilson was decent, but by then, the democrats had taken control of the State Senate and Assembly.

A R.Regan Republican cannot win here anymore.

Say Arnie crys 'Uncle". I believe his support will break - Best Case - 70 - 30 for Tom. The rest will NEVER vote for a social conservative. So will vote - No Recall and/or Bustemonte.

Tom ends up with around 40% - best case for him. Which is about the percentage of registered Repubs in CAlifornia.

Ultimate Result - Tom loses, Repubs lose, California loses. And the "true conservatives" get to keep whining. It's what they are best at.

No he's not. He's a Moderate Republican. No matter how much the McClintock supporters try to slander him with other names...

This would make an interesting vanity some time:
Should a person be able to choose their party affiliation or
should they have to request, be tested, and be granted affiliation?

CB^?
