Arnold, unlike McClintock, has the best interests of California at heart and so will not drop out.

Basically, only one person -- Tom McClintock -- will decide whether Arnold or Cruz is the next Governor. If McClintock stays in, he is in essence voting for Cruz.

Of course. Let's not kid ourselves that McClintock and his supporters wouldn't like to see Cruz as governor. That is their only goal.

I think McClintock should stay in until a few days before the election, then drop out.

That way arnold will have to veer a little to the right in his speeches and campaign promises. Arnold still gets elected, except he will be a little farther to the right.

It is precisely that thinking that has given us the Republocrat. Arnold's political stance is only marginally different from that of Davis, and will only exacerbate California's misery.

Greendom advising on antibusiness envirowacko policies,
pushes the whole gay agenda to second graders, and doesn't
like taxes, but is advised by the biggest tax HIKER in CA
history and pretty soon it may dawn on you that you and the
gangbanging candidate have long ago left the GOP.....
ohhhhhh but we get to Winnnnnn (you will win zilch)

And new polls suggest McClntock is now at 18%.

It's Arnold who should drop outt, not Tom.

The only one gaining in this race is McClintock.

Let's see what the polls say next week after the Republican Convention.

McClintock is the only one with any kind of plan at all.

Regards,
Joe

California will not and CAN NOT turn from a "pinko leftist liberal commune" into a "normal society" overnight...and it will not allow for a "Conservative Republican" to take the helm...it will require an intermediate "liberal Republican" to put a new spin on what the "Real World" expects from California.

I agree...if McClintock (who I respect and support) doesn't step aside for the angry democrats and undecided moderates...he will hand the election right back to the demoncrats...
