WRITE FOR W FRIDAY is Today! Get Rid of the Liberal Slant in Your Local Media Now
Write for W Fridays

Today is WRITE FOR W FRIDAY! This Friday and every Friday, Freepers will be getting together to write letters to the editor to take back America's editorial pages and counter the latest Democrat attacks against President Bush. Bush haters have also chosen today to send letters to the editor, which is why it's critical to have a HUGE turnout by FReepers. Let's tell the Democrat candidates they're full of it in letters to the editor across the country!
Writing letters to the editor to the papers in your area is easy through the President's re-election website.
What to write about? Anything you want, but the following are some good points on taxes if that's what you want to write about. This week being the anniversary of 9/11, you can also talk about how important it is that we stay on OFFENSE in the war on terror, rather than cowering before evil regimes and the French:
- The Democrat pretenders are again lying to the public about President Bush's tax cuts "for the wealthy." It's time someone set the record straight.
- As this Tax Foundation report notes, tax relief is helping middle class and working families. The number of Americans paying no taxes at all is up 10 million since the tax cuts took effect -- from 30 million in 2000 to 40 million today. The claim that this tax cut benefits the wealthy is absurd.
- If a Democrat becomes President in 2004, 10 million people who aren't paying taxes today will start to if the tax cuts are repealed as promised. That's the Democrat tax plan for working families.
Whatever is on your mind, go write your letter now. Writing letters is a great way to impact public opinion in your community.

I do this almost daily...Here's my letter printed in the USA Today yesterday...
http://www.usatoday.com/usatonline/20030911/5490147s.htm My letter printed Wednesday in my local paper:
http://www.syracuse.com/opinion/poststandard/index.ssf?/base/opinion-3/1063183221207681.xml Close to the prize:
President Bush proved once again why so many Americans love him as our president. He continues to rally the people during a time of crisis.
The war with Iraq has been over since May 1. The challenge we now face in Iraq is another front in the war on terror, just as President Bush explained in his address to the American public.
We are so close to the prize: A democratic Iraq. Imagine the impact this will have on the politically unstable Middle East. To show weakness now would only play into the hands of the terrorists and would ultimately invite more attacks. - Jon Alvarez

Wrote a letter to the Philly Daily News yesterday about how the Dems consider success to be failure (Iraq) and failure to be success (Kosovo).

How's this to the networks? (I used your letter as a format)
I am writing to inform you that I will no longer watch NBC news or any version of it be it national or local. The leftist bias that NBC uses to present news is obvious and blatant. As a major network you have a responsibility to produce factual content and practice objective journalism with integrity. But your network doesnt.
Your coverage is consistently not in favor of the current President or his administration. You seem to seek to divide this country by distortion and manipulation of context and facts. In these days of internet news, it seems unwise that a major network should underestimate the intelligence of its viewers. Yet you peddle your brand of the truth as if your viewers cant be allowed to hear all aspects of a story. In view of TV ratings for quite some time, Id say this is backfiring on you.
NBC is off my dish until it decides to provide consistently balanced coverage and practice honest, objective journalism. And I am NOT alone in my displeasure.
Also, would you ping me when you get the list of advertisers together? Thanks!

Marcus and
ALL, send this from the Hillary Watch to all your local papers etc. The woman acts as if she were the president; help the Democrats take back their party and help the nation rid themselves of this Socialist/Marxist protagonist who is anything but interested in what is best for the nation, our western culture and the Republic as we know it.
Hillary Set To Block Another Bush Appointment
Mrs. Bill Clinton has been leading the fight against President Bush's agenda. Most recently she celebrated with other Senate Democrats upon hearing they had successfully blocked the Miguel Estrada judicial nomination from coming to a simple and fair up or down vote.
Now Mrs. Bill Clinton is threatening to lead a similar stalemate over President Bush's nominee, Utah Governor Mike Leavitt, to head the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Her recent comments are further proof of her obstructionist attitude towards the President's appointments.
The Associated Press wrote "Senator Clinton has said she would place a hold on the nomination of Utah Gov. Mike Leavitt -- a procedural move that would prevent a Senate vote on his confirmation." A White House spokesperson told the Associated Press, "It's unfortunate that Sen. Clinton would seek to politicize such a qualified nominee as Gov. Leavitt. He is a known consensus builder and has brought people together to work on solutions for environmental improvement."
The Miguel Estrada fiasco must not happen again. PHONE or FAX your Senators, whatever party they belong to and tell them to put the junior senator in the garbage can where she belongs. She does not speak for the majority of Democrats and she surely does not speak for America!
Contact Senator Frist:
http://frist.senate.gov/contact.cfm
And tell him there can be no more pussy footing around Mrs. Bill Clinton and her obstruction of Bush nominees; the American people are tired of this weak leadership from the majority and want action to stop Mrs. Bill Clinton.

Jon, the other letters printed with yours in the Syracuse paper show how important it is to do this. The drip-drip-drip of negativity does have its effect on people. Don't think that THEIR letter-writing is uncoordinated! I am bookmarking this page and will count on having successes as you did! Thank you for posting!

agree 100%...So many are silent. We need to speak out, show our outrage. With the media and the liberals...
GW is a great leader, they attempt to discredit him solely for political gain...but it emboldens our enemy.
