Vietnamese Communists Applaud Terrorist Attacks on U.S.

Echoing the government’s official line, many Communists in Hanoi have expressed jubilation over and support for the terrorist attacks on the U.S. The Vietnamese government officially accuses the U.S. of "brazen interference" in Vietnam's internal affairs that "offends the nationalism of the Vietnamese people."

Two days after the attacks, People's Army Daily, the official mouthpiece of Vietnam's military establishment, blames U.S. foreign policies for the acts of terror at the World Trade Center and the Pentagon: "If Americans had not pursued isolationism and chauvinism, and if they had not insisted on imposing their values on others in their own subjective manner, then perhaps the twin towers would still be standing together in the singing waves and breeze of the Atlantic."

Vietnamese Americans have expressed outrage over the insensitive and indefensible position taken by the Vietnam’s Communist Party and government. Committee for Religious Freedom in Vietnam views such a position as indicative of the Vietnamese government’s intention not to improve its own human rights record, not to respect religious freedom, not to move towards democracy, and not to join the community of responsible governments.

Consider the source. I don't give a rat's patootey what they think. Unless they claim they feel a kindred spirit with us. Then I would worry.

I would love to know how it is possible to impose your values on others while in a state of isolation. Morons.

"If Americans had not pursued isolationism and chauvinism,

Oh, so now it's because we didn't go out and interfere with everyone else that we were attacked?
Here's hoping that they never do make up their minds.

Dear Folks

During the Vietnam war, Jane Fonda played into the VC's hands, helping the cause of the North Vietnamese communists to a complete, successful takeover of South Vietnam. Later, she apologized to America for helping our enemy.

Too bad ! It's too late !

I am seeing our American falling heros' blood was dripping from Jane Fonda's hands.

Today, right inside our heartland, Mr Brown, mayor of San Francisco has been helping the Vietcong to infiltrate our beloved country for another disaster ?

How could I come to such a conclusion !

Since he had a lot of guts to display the Vietcong flag in front of San Francisco city hall to celebrate the Vietnamese communist holiday !

Sure, the VN communists were thrilled to see their bloody flag flying arrogantly, provocatively in the eyes of the Vietnamese Americans who rallied to denounce Mr Brown's unpatriotic behavior.

By the way, the Vietcong was also thrilled upon learning of the WTC bombing on Sept. 11, 2001.

Check it out !

We, Vietnamese Americans should all raise our awareness for his next move !!

Matthew Tran
