Did you miss post #9 above? Perhaps you don't know that more law students from Texas Tech pass the bar exam the first time around than any other law school in Texas? They are also the only university to offer a medical and law school on the same campus with their academic studies. I chose to attend Texas Tech over all the other schools in Texas because it had a good business school and the students and locals were friendly and down to earth. I was also suspect of any school that would choose orange or maroon as their school colors. :) P.S. I am a die hard Red Raider but will admit that the Aggies have an excellent band. I tried to think of something positive about the Longhorns and could only come up with thanks for a good fight song which we changed the words to...Texas bite, Texas bite, Texas jump up and bite my...
Did you miss post #9 above? If you would look you would see that my post was specifically in reply to #9.
I attended Texas Tech for a year in the '60s. It cost me a small fortune to have my car repainted and the glass replaced, and my teeth have never been the same.

Sorry, you're wrong about more law students from Tech passing the bar the first time around. Way wrong. The Texas Board of Law Examiners reports the following:
July 2002, Texas Tech - 84.33%, behind Baylor, SMU, U of H, and UT.
July, 2001, Texas Tech - 89.1%, behind Baylor, U of H, and Texas.
July, 2000, Texas Tech - 86.57%, behind Baylor, U of H, and Texas.
