Ignoring for the moment the hilarious accusations against the IDF, the architect of the attacks was motivated by the US responding positively to a Muslim government's invitation to the US to garrison troops on their soil. He was also pretty upset that Castilian troops had invaded Andalucia 519 years before September 11.
