The Dems are beneath contempt. I used to think at least SOME of them were good people - but where are they? Are they forced to march in lock-step with their leadership?
Not one of them has come out and condemned the vitriolic attacks on the president and the administration.
And it's fallacy to say we "support the troops but object to the president's policies". BS.

Ed Koch, former DEMOCRAT Mayor of New York went after the dems BIG TIME this morning. He held nothing back. He is elderly, has had a stroke, etc. and for a moment there I thought he was going to have another stroke when discussing a sign he saw blaming President Bush for engineering the attack of 9/11.........
He gave unequivocal support for President Bush and his re-election.

I heard that on Rush - he played all of Koch's comments. Excellent. He was the most supportive Democrat I've ever heard.
I'm sure the CNN reporter was speechless.

"IN MEMORY OF 9-11".
This reminds us WHY our troops are fighting in Bosnia (where al Queda is rising up again), Afghanistan and Irag.
This link says it all.
"Have you Forgotten?"
It only takes a second to play. It is a very moving tribute. I hope you have speakers. The quotes from our forefathers are as poignant today as ever.

Oh, there's plenty of anger and resolve.

Not on the part of the Democrats. Right. With Dems, it's linger and absolve.

If you don't, your own country, sooner or later, will end up having to pay. It may be an attack on Montreal or Ottawa, but sooner or later, if these evil people are not defeated, no country will be safe.
Couldn't agree more. Unfortunately, at the present,we're being held hostage by the evil Chretien.

Last year Reader's Digest had the Hero Stories of how people helped each other on 9/11. I cannot find my copy. Does anyone have a link of the stories that came out about that day? I am trying to help my nine year old son understand it. Thanks!

Islamic terrorists planned this in advance And recall the self-incriminating quote from OBL shortly afterward:
"Due to my experience in this field, I was thinking that the fire from the gas in the plane would melt the iron structure of the building and collapse the area where the plane hit and all the floors above it only. This is all that we hoped for."

I went to the WTC site a little before 8 a.m. today and stayed through the first two moments of silence (commemorating the times each plane hit) and some of the heartbreaking reading of names by the little kids.
Maybe it's where I was, but there seemed to be fewer people than last year and after the families got into the site, the police told those of us who were on the plaza and steps outside the Brooks Brothers store across Church Street, just east of the WTC site, that we could cross Church Street and be right in front of the east fence, back a few feet behind barricades. Most of the photos below were from the closer location.

To: Peach
I think it was Wolf Blitzed who was the host questioning Koch. Asked him if he would support LIEberman......Koch said NO! LOLOL....not what CNN wanted to hear!

Thanks for the picture anniegetyourgun!! Way cool!
Did you like the link? I was telling peach, I think the guy that did this one, did the one after 9-11. The professional quality of it is just amazing. IT is so moving and so emotional. So professionally done.
I hope everyone enjoys it.
To: Vets_Husband_and_Wife
It did look similar to the one made after 9/11/01. But I thought I'd seen the CBS special aired the other night about the days following 9/11 in the Bush administration and there was a lot I either never saw or didn't remember.
I think we were still all in such shock after 9/11, a lot of it didn't sink in.

Just saw the link with the Have You Forgotten song. I am glad I made sure my younger children were somewhere else when my oldest son and I watched it.
The Blood of Heroes link seems to be experiencing a temporary problem.
To: NYC GOP Chick
Very nice pics, chick, and another beautiful, cloudless morning in NYC....
