>Because if I were I sure in the hell wouldn't be "waiting" for anything to "die"; never mind, waiting ten years.
"Whoa! Perhaps EXPECTING is a better choice of words."

That's better. {g}
I think the success of the entire Liberal-Socialist's paradigm being pulled off was based on their ability to out wait those of us who would be waiting for common sense as dictated in our "free market" to intervene & relegate their bullshit to the ashcan of history.

This isn't only true for music, either; but, for what used to be expected in our "news," "entertainment," and many other facets of our culture, too.
The very well financed Liberal-Socialist bastards moved in & when they did it was with the attitude it'd be to stay.

Those behind the scenes with the deep pockets who've lost fortunes must've thought it all worthwhile as they've yet to crack with only a few exceptions like PMSNBC or CNN.
So I suppose it's all just a case of "When the band you're in starts playing different tunes," eh?

"I made the decision to be a musician at age 15(5 years after I started playing) and haven't stopped since. Hell, you know know my routine."

Sure, I know.
In as much as I thought Mud was ragging on me with his *tone*, I guess I myself sounded as if I were indicting you too with my crassness.
The ramblings of a craggy old man, is all.

"BTW. One of the greatest indictments of the industry. Too, bad Waters is a socialist."

I wonder.
Because England's a socialist nightmare & anyone can see the wreackage socialism's brought.
Waters' certainly isn't a capitalist or possess any other politics in particuar (that I can tell) beyond indicting every & anything; unless, "nincompoop" has become an ideology.

Waters' strikes me as a man possessed of great insight; who, per expectation is an angry & lonely man trapped in an ideal most of us will have to wait for death to be actualized.
In short, Waters' is blessed with the ability to bitch elequoent, ad infinitum; while, conversely offering no solutions.

"Love the music, though."

Me too, he's one of the very best there is/was representing the largest, most spoiled generation in history.

...mine.

Beats the hell outta being a true-blue "socialist" who would immediately propose that everexpanding power to the Federal Leviathan would solve said problem. Problem with most Leftists is that they see a problem and say "Something must be done" and they assume that "something" is yet another Federal program!!

We played in Boston Saturday. On the way up we watched the Making of Dark Side of the Moon dvd.(not sure of the title)

It is a must watch.

Waters has got to be one of the saddest individuals I've ever seen. You would think the guy never had a good day in his life.

His misery aside, it is an incredible documentary on how they put that record together. Gilmour is like a proper English Gentleman/Professor.

Clare Torrey still brings tears to my eyes every time I hear Great Gig in the Sky.

We were so amped after watching it, we played Breathe as soon as we got onstage. The airheads don't get it, but man it was fun!
