Politics is not high tea. The idea is to win. It's a mean and nasty business filled with mean and nasty people. That's the way it is.

I've said my piece. I'll leave you now to your mean and nasty business and your mean and nasty people.
After all, it's so...productive.

Adios!

By the way, it's not my mean and nasty business or my mean and nasty people. It's hard knuckled politics. Which is pretty mild compared to the past. Check out American politics in the 19th and 20th centuries. Violence and murder. At least we don't see duels anymore.

The Democrats get it. Some of the contemporary Democrats would likely fit right in at Tammany Hall. The Clinton's certainly would. Unfortunately many Republicans are simply just too damn nice. By the way, one of the BIG dynamics to this California mess was the passage of the drivers license bill and Davis signing it. This was all done, of course, for Bill and Hillary Clinton. Why? Motor Voter. It took a decade but they got it passed in "Kali-Fornia". Which was their main target.

American politics is mostly mean and nasty. I wish it was different. But until the left is defeated that's the way it will be.
