Makes absolutely no sense at all. NOW is when people are mailing in votes they can't take back.

Only the brain dead ones.
Maybe you trendy ga-ga Arnold munchkins can spend a little time educating the dimmer ones?

My earlier post on the subject:

I'm not ready to condemn McClintock just yet. I assume that he's taking a hard stance because he doesn't want to turn off any backers who would still financially support him in the final weeks unless he were to appear to waffle. I still expect him to be a team player and do what's right for the short-term for California and the long-term for his career. However, I also think that he's our insurance against the Democrat "late hit" against Schwarzenegger which I still think is coming.

I know that absentee ballots are out now, but I don't think they will be a factor for McClintock. My gut instinct is that his supporters will either wait until the end or show up in person.

Maybe a "cease fire" between McClintock's and Arnold's supporters, in order to fire away at Bustamante, instead?

Judging by FR, BustMecha wins because of all the Republican infighting.

"Does that mean you'd rather have a Rat governor than a RINO governor?"

Dig this, I HAVE a 'Rat Governor precisely because I HAD a RINO Governor. This is all you get when you elect a RINO Governor. You gain nothing with them and you lose EVERYTHING in the end. With RINO Governors, there are no baby steps towards making the GOP more competitive or any movement at all towards Conservatism, just gigantic leaps towards liberalism, the 'Rat agenda, and MORE 'Rat elected officials. Is that clear enough ?

("...behold, they have rejected the word of the LORD, so what wisdom is in them?" [Jer. 8:9])

Gee, with that tag line one would think you would be for the honorable candidate -- McClintock.

If I lived in California Tom would have my vote.

I do live in California and Arnold has my vote.

"This is a true first: alleged "true conservatives" praying for (1) a completely egregious bout of judicial activism and (2) a Supreme Court unwilling to enforce the rule of law."

Tommyboy's just like their daddy are willing to be as bitter as need be to get their way. So what this tells me is that these so called "principled" conservatives aren't all that principled.

Vote for the true Republican, the one that doesn't take snipes at his fellow Republican candidate. Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Arnold on the other hand is a great Republican but a lousy conservative.

Is that your opinion? It's certainly not mine. But I'll take him over bustamante any day. You wouldn't?

Surely it is up to the voters, if McClintock is only polling 8-10 % in the week before the election he will know the writing is on the wall.

So, in the meantime Mcclintock syphons off critical absentee ballot votes from the only man standing between bustamante and the governor's office. Gee...what a great plan.

Let the people speak,it is the arrogance of party solidarity that got Davis into office.

The people have been speaking for months and they've said they prefer Arnold over Mcclintock by a margin of 2 to 1. Perhaps you missed it.

Some of us know what RINO actually means, and don't throw it around frivilously because we don't agree with a Republican pol 110% of the time.

Chris Cox, John Cooper, Dana Rohrabacher, Newt Gingrich, Milton Friedman, Hugh Hewitt, Ann Coulter and Thomas Sowell aren't running for Governor of California. Arnold Schwarzenegger is running for governor of California and so far he's shown a serious lack of knowledge on almost every issue facing California. Arnold's answer to everything is, "leadership".

And don't bother posting your other list of things that Democrats won't do. I saw that the other night and thought, she can't be serious.

Arnold doesn't boldly back tax cuts and spending cuts. In fact, he can't even produce his economic recovery plan for California, until after the recall election. The obvious reason for this is simple. Arnold has no economic recovery plan for California.

Arnold doesn't boldly back the pro-life position of the GOP platform. Arnold is pro-abortion and that is in direct opposition to the GOP platform.

Arnold said tonight, that placing the military on the borders to stop illegal immigration is something he'll have to look into. Look into?!

Arnold wants more gun control legislation for California.

Arnold supports special rights for homosexuals.

Arnold opposes Prop54.

Arnold hired a BIG-TIME liberal Democrat, to test the the waters for increasing California property taxes and promptly got his head handed to him on that issue.

Arnold wants to increase state tax revenues, so the states social welfare programs will run more efficiently. That's called high minded liberalism.

Arnold wants to get California out of the red, so its social welfare programs will operate better for the people. More high minded liberalism.

Arnold won't even debate his opponents. He is running from debates and instead goes on with Bill O'Reilly for a softball interview.

Arnold Schwarzenegger, empty suit.

McClintock's career is over if he helps elect Bustamante.

Spare us the empty threats.

The Parsky-run Calif. GOP has no room for a guy like McClintock, regardless.

They'll sooner run William Jefferson Clinton as a Republican than an actual conservative like McClintock.

And, frankly, I wouldn't put it past them.

Bwahahahahahaha ! Ah-nold wouldn't know a REAL Republican if one came up behind him and did what he did to Linda Hamilton's sister.

The surprising aspect of all of this, to me anyway, is how judgmental so many are. You would think they themselves had never made a mistake, that they had the purity of Jesus. And also it is amazing that McClintock has apparently become such an icon in such a short time. Is he really worthy of all of this, or is he just a symbol? I watch him, listen, read his words. Yeah, he's a nice man, intelliegent and accomplished enough. But most certainly you have far better potential candidates out there to carry the conservative banner with more persuasiveness.
