[history]
With Peter Ueberroth out of the race, all Republican eyes now turn toward State. Sen. Tom McClintock, and the effort by some party leaders and the Schwarzenegger campaign to get him to withdraw. The problem for Schwarzenegger is that while having McClintock out might be good for him, the process of getting him out is quite bad. In the end, Schwarzenegger might be better off simply ignoring McClintock. Here

I'm not sure if you are aware of it or not, but past attempts by states to get money to cover the costs of thier illegals have been snubbed.

Again, where did you get the idea that Arnold is planning to sue he feds over protecting the borders? All he has said is that he's going to go to them to get money. He hasn't said just how he plans to do that. You're guessing that he means to initiate a lawsuit of some sort; I'm not. I have no idea how he plans to do it. Unfortunately, from all indications, neither does he, at least not yet.

Schwarzenegger didn't give any indication of an intention to take this to court. That is true. I don't think he'll get any money from the feds because political leaders of four or five states demand it. Still, nobody has tried that before now, so even that is a new plan.

Ok, I can't argue with that. As vague as it is and totally devoid of specifics, I guess you'd have to call it a 'new plan'. I'd say it's a stretch to call it one but I can't totally refute it.
I've got to head out of here for a few hours. Catch you later. Good talking with you.

Thanks Bob. I will agree that it wasn't long on specifics, but I have no reason not to believe he'll follow through. When asked if he thought it a good idea to put troops on the border, he thought for a moment and avoided the issue. This could be criticized, but if he said yes, he'd be a marked man. I'd rather see him hedge his bets to a certain degree. I think the guy will be the next governor. If he doesn't follow through on some of these issues, let's replace him in the spring of 2006.

You feel the need to follow me around don't you? No one I know ever posted the pot smoking one, you are trolling on the website, obviously looking for more pics to rip off like one of Tom pointing that you did before.
Kinda hurts falling like you have on FR, no?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've been getting the impression that you're trying pretty hard to imitate him. Someone who openly creates pictures insulting conservatives?
No.
In fact, I'll correct you by saying I will NEVER respect you Groupies again, and I'll be there when this blows up as I've known to remind you how very wrong you Triangulationists are being.
I hope (R)nold wins.

... First, McClintock isnt just attacking Schwarzenegger ...No, he isn't just attacking Arnold, he's assisting Bustamecha. The masses will not turn out for Mcxlintock, they are eager to vote for Arnold. I like Arnold, one heck of a lot more than Tom. I'm beginning to doubt whether Tom could even get elected dogcatcher nowadays.
Go Arnold

... Arnold remains an embarrassment to the GOP. Arnold may be an embarrassment to your wing of the GOP, but I'm proud of him, and personally embarrassed by your wing. We have our crosses, eh?

... I reckon it's just too complex for some to grasp. I for one. I'm already thinking that too much damage and division have been done and I want the pettiness to end sooner rather than later.
