[history]
A wheelbarrow, a missing power tool and a couple of beers have landed a West Newton family in hot water.
John Adam McCurdy, 36, of 6 Valley View Trailer Court, has been charged with swinging the wheelbarrow at his brother-in-law, Robert Charles Edward, striking him in the head.

It's all the Dremel Tool's fault.
And I bet some lawyer will sue the manufacturer for designing a faulty wheelbarrow.

Sounds like there was more than just one tool involved in this dispute.

You know you're a redneck when you've been in a wheelbarrow fight and it makes the front page of the local newspaper.
6 CUBIC-YARD wheelbarrow?!?!?! This is an example of a 6-cubic yard container. If they make a wheelbarrow that big the guy wouldn't be able to get it off the ground, let alone swing it at someone.

It's a good thing he didn't use a weed-whacker.

Unbeknownst to most Americans, a Danger lurks in our homes. As common as a clothespin but as deadly as a snake, many look directly at it without realizing the menace in their midst. Yes, friends, we are talking about Full Auto Assault Tools. Studies have shown that the MAJORITY of American homes have at least ONE of these devices in them already, with more being added all the time, thanks to efforts by the Tool Lobby to promote their ownership. Power tools- in the hands of unskilled and unlicensed users- kill a tremendous number of people each year- maiming most, electrocuting the remainder. Many of the victims are children. There are so many hazardous and dangerous tools out there that we had to split the web site up into several pages just to hold them all, and more come in every day. Hopefully, with your support, we can rid our country of the menace of unlicensed tools. Remember... Choose a document on the left to discover the horrifying Truth about unlicensed tools
Don't forget to patronize our store at the left -- help keep M.I.L.T. solvent! |
We've closed this poll because it only verifies what everyone already knows- people want licensed power tools! |

charges of simple assault Good it was just the wheelbarrow used as a weapon. If multiple shovels had also been used, someone could have got hurt.

Uh yeah, I believe it was a 6 cubic foot wheel barrow. Imagine trying to put six 3'x3'x3' boxes in a wheel barrow? Nevertheless, funny story! ;-)
To: Willie Green
John McCurdy came around from the other side of the vehicle and joined the fracas, Moran wrote, picking up a red, 6-cubic-yard wheelbarrow and swinging it at Edward. A 6 cu yard. wheelbarrow is no small object. John must be a pretty big guy. Big and stoopid.
To: Abe Froman
Must be a mis-print. Had to be 6 cubic feet. Still, that's no small wheelbarrow.
To: martin_fierro
I'd be fighting too if my neighbor offered me a beer and then handed me a Yuenglings. I'd punch him in the mouth for offering that crap.
