The news service is lying. Everybody knows that Congress passed a law making it illegal to bring guns on to school property.

Three Shot At Taft High School
All Critically Injured, No Word If Victims Are Students
Sep 9, 2003 2:43 pm US/Pacific
LOS ANGELES (CBS) Three people were shot on the sidewalk across from Taft High School Tuesday afternoon, at Ventura Boulevard and Winnetka Avenue, according to broadcast reports.
KCAL 9 News reported that it is a "very bloody scene" and that three rescue ambulances are on scene. LAPD is said to be sending numerous officers to the scene, and has an air unit up.
The shooting occurred at 2:13 p.m., Los Angeles police Officer Adriana Sanchez says.
All three victims are males, one of whom is "very, very seriously" hurt, according to television reports.
Police are looking for the suspects in nearby businesses, possibly including a fast-food restaurant.
The Taft High football field is being used as a landing zone for a city fire rescue helicopter.
Eastbound Ventura Boulevard is shut down and traffic is being diverted on to Winnetka Avenue, according to officials.

Taft is one of the better public schools. They win science bowls and stuff like that. Yikes.

Will this school be labeled a "persistently dangerous school"?
No? I didn't think so.

Another Ritalin case, perhaps? Ever noticed how all of the shootings are performed by students on Ritalin? Quite odd.

If we ban high schools, this kind of thing won't happen.

Good thing this didn't happen in California where they have such strict gun control laws. This should serve as a lesson to all the rest of you in the other 49 states. If you follow California's lead in gun control you can prevent this kind of event from happening in your state.
What? ...Never mind.
