All Critically Injured, No Word If Victims Are Students

LOS ANGELES (CBS) Three people were shot on the sidewalk across from Taft High School Tuesday afternoon, at Ventura Boulevard and Winnetka Avenue, according to broadcast reports.
KCAL 9 News reported that it is a "very bloody scene" and that three rescue ambulances are on scene. LAPD is said to be sending numerous officers to the scene, and has an air unit up.
The shooting occurred at 2:13 p.m., Los Angeles police Officer Adriana Sanchez says.
All three victims are males, one of whom is "very, very seriously" hurt, according to television reports.
Police are looking for the suspects in nearby businesses, possibly including a fast-food restaurant.
The Taft High football field is being used as a landing zone for a city fire rescue helicopter.
Eastbound Ventura Boulevard is shut down and traffic is being diverted on to Winnetka Avenue, according to officials.
