Another major global polluter, China, said earlier that it had ratified the Kyoto Protocol, even though it was not bound to because it is considered a developing nation. What the heck?
Isn't pollution still pollution? If we find a politically correct excuse, can we forget about it, too?

It will be hard for Russia to ratify the 1997 Kyoto Protocol on reducing greenhouse gas emissions this year, Ohhhh....maybe next year, or the year after. Maybe a few more years....we'll see. It's only been 6 years. What's the rush?
