Right up until this point I had agreed with those who said that Arnold should be supported for his run against Busty.
Now I wouldn't vote to put out a fire that was consuming his idiot ass.
Time to stop voting for Alleged Republicans just because they have an R in front of their names. Time to start voting for REAL conservatives. Either that or it's time to leave the Republican party.

If he wants these folks to come over to his side, then he probably needs to learn the "fly, vinegar, honey" lesson.

#17: VERY good advice! Absentee ballots mailed today could elect Bustamante, one way or the other.
HOLD YOUR FIRE, brothers and sisters! Wait until we see the whites of their eyes before we fire off those absentee ballots!

CAN YOU BELIEVE ARNOLD CALLS THE PROP. 54 SUPPORTERS RIGHT-WING CRAZIES? No, this is a fabricated story. If he said anything, it was directed exclusively at the irrational, wild eyed, hallucinating, extreme closet rightwingers. Hey, he was talking to you.

Is the legislature in CA dominated by the left?
The reason I ask is, here in Rhode Island, we managed to vote in a republican governor.(must have been a bug in the vote scan software)
He appears to be giving it his best, but he's being devoured by the leftists who control everything.
I imagine, by the time he's through, the left's policies will remain even more firmly in place along with the deep rooted corruption that is a hallmark of state and city government here. Things will be considerably worse off, and the sole republican in government(governor) will probably take all the blame.
People cheered when we elected a pub, but he is helpless to change anything and is constantly knifed by the dem leaders and set up as a fool by the AG.
Yet, he'll shoulder the blame for the state's continueing decline.
What is the point of having a republican governor when he is powerless? We'd have been better off with a leftist cur, who would have nobody to blame for the continued disintegration of the state.
Only the utter collapse of the leftists policies will ever lead to meaningful change here.

That would be a NO. A vote for any one of ArnieCruzaDoofus has the same effect except that ONLY the election of Arnie can destroy the actual Republican Party in California. Elect McClintock or suffer at leisure just until 2006 if Cruz or Grayout are governor or forever if California destroys the GOP by electing Arnie.

Let me ask you a question: What happens when Arnold gets in (if we're so unfortunate) raises taxes, governs ineptly (like someone who has no experience, no plans and a high degree of arrogance)? The state is destroyed further, we get a Democrat in 2006 -- AND WE WILL HAVE NEVER HAD A REAL CONSERVATIVE OR TRIED WHAT A REPUBLICAN CAN REALLY DO.
I want Tom, but in my book: Arnold=Cruz

Here is an exact link to your claim.Apparently, also, this came from someone named "Justin" but we really don't have a way to confirm this story without "Justin's" last name. Also, perhaps "Justin" could appear in other media outlets, in print, radio or television to confirm his account on his own, or in an interview?
I'm being this harsh in my criticism because, if I were in California, I'd take this as a "deal breaker" when it came to a vote for Arnold. I wouldn't stand for it, and I'd hope no one else would. BUT, maybe, a). That's not really how it happened or b). This "Justin" is just making the whole thing up.
Again, I suggest these things because, for true conservatives, that phrase is a slap in the face and thus, it's a pretty serious charge to make, imo. A simple mention in some "post" at National Review Online, by someone without a last name......hardly a real "bombshell" in my opinion, without some kind of confirmation (and apparently the story's been "out there" for a few days already)
I don't know if we're "supposed" to know Justin's last name, or know him well or what, but if that's the case, forgive me for not being "in the know".

RGSpincich, LOOK IN THE MIDDLE. THIS POST IS ALSO SOURCED TO NATIONAL REVIEW. Article by John Miller, political editor of National Review online.

This is too long.
Just the quote and analysis about his patronizing response.
Tha'd make the point much clearer.
To: sruleoflaw
Prop. 54 is another sinister ruse of the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy, it seems.
I want to see better sources.
To: sruleoflaw
Does not support your headline. Phony story.
To: sruleoflaw
Thanks for the post. It is clear that we can't trust Arnold not only on abortion, guns and gays, but also on affirmative action, immigration and tax cuts. How are his views different from, say, Bill Clinton's?
Tom McClintock is California's only hope.

What happens when Arnold gets in Stop right there. HE gets in, the next day the Democratic Party recall effort of Arnold will begin... which is why this is all worthless to begin with-- especially the part of electing someone like Arnold Schrawwhatever.
To: dogbyte12
Exactly. Ward Connerly is to be greatly respected. He's done a lot for good with his perservenrance and determination and has taken alot of unfair criticism and overt abject ugly nasty attacks.

Way to go Arnie... this will really convince the McClintock supporters to throw their support to you. You don't get it.
Howard Kaloogian, Chairman of the Recall Gray Davis Committee and long-time conservative activist, reports that several phone calls to the White House resulted in mocking conversations.
Not interested, said the political types. Let Davis slowly twist in the wind. Itll make our job easier in 04.

Rove was against this recall all along. He and Parsky probably put up Arnold is to split the conservative GOP vote and our "moderates" fell for it. That alone would explain the bizarre behavior of Mr. Schwarzenegger; i.e., he doesn't want to BE governor (and who could blame him). Under that scenario he's just having some fun messing with the conservatives he hates (which fits his personality perfectly; as a body builder his trademark was messing with the heads of his competition). He's got company in the White House!

ARNOLD & PROP. 54 [John J. Miller] Yesterday I named three things Arnold S. could to do to appeal to conservatives. I neglected to mention a fourth: Endorse Proposition 54, Ward Connerly's latest initiative, which would ban the state from collecting information about the race and ethnicity of its citizens. For a couple of weeks, AS has said he's studying Prop. 54 and would announce his decision before Election Day. Last night, however, Connerly emailed to say AS has come out against Prop. 54. The candidate also added this little flourish: "And if the right-wing crazies have a problem with that, so be it." It is becoming increasingly clear that there is no conservative case to be made for Schwartzenegger. The man has given us "right-wing crazies" almost nothing except the hope that he might win. Friends, this is the definition of a Pyrrhic victory. Posted at 05:37 AM
What is the actual SOURCE for this? Are we willing to accept hearsay and innuendo as fact?

What is the actual SOURCE for this? Are we willing to accept hearsay and innuendo as fact? That's MY question. This has no link, and doesn't cite a mainstream news source. Are we sure this is legitimate and not a simple hit piece from the anti-Arnold camp?
