Word is inside the Kerry camp is that wife Teresa Heinz Kerry wants hubby advisor Bob Shrum off the campaign. 'She's p*ssed that Senator Kerry wasnt more offensive minded earlier in the race and ceded control to Howard Dean,' says a Kerry Staffer in Washington.
Shrum, youll recall was an earlier advisor to Senator Edwards, before jumping to Kerry's camp because Kerry was willing to give him a level of control that Edwards wasn't willing to surrender.M
Now that Edwards is buried in the back of the polls, and Kerry folks are blaming Shrum for their problems, perhaps Shrum will find solace with his old compadre from North Carolina.
At the time Shrum jumped from Edwards to Kerry, the former Gore advisor was believed to have turned on his client because of the Massachusetts Senator's offer to be an uber advisor extraordinaire.
Instead, Shrum has become Kerry's scratching post. In the hours leading up to Kerry's announcement in South Carolina, unnamed Kerry staffers were telling reporters on the flight down that Shrum was refusing to show anyone other than Kerry the speech that had been written, and that Kerry had virtually nothing to do with the speech's content.
Shrum, meanwhile was telling reporters on the record that Kerry had played an extensive role in the writing of the speech.

Kerry has a little problem with his face. Folks in Massachusetts are willing to vote for anybody, even politicians who run male prostitution rackets out of their offices or who murder their dates. But I can't see the average American voting for Kerry after taking a look at his face. Who on earth would want to see that staring at him from every newspaper and TV for four long years?

The Ketchup Lady is THE number #1 reason why Democrats should vote for anybody but John Kerry in the primaries. SHE will run the White House, not her husband.

I don't think my husband will be able to withstand Heinz ketchup withdrawal - he refuses to buy any other kind.

I don't blame her. Shrum doesn't look French enough.
