I usually laugh, since the ABC station I listen to is 770 in NYC. They have wall to wall conservative shows on the air that have often already refuted some of the more outrageous stuff on the top and bottom of the hour news. ;-)I know what you mean. The other day Jennings was going on about something in the top of the hour news. I just laughed. Those who listen to 770 usually know their stuff, and dismiss Jennings and anything he has to say. His voice on that station is like a gnat that needs swatting.

The local reporters are pretty good, like Babita(sp?) and Bruce Anderson. Bruce tries hard not to have an ideological opinion, but seems to be fairly conservative, or at least a common sense kind of guy.

Conservative talk shows make money and ABC sells their news feed for peanuts. It is time for those of us who call local shows to phone in when the most egregious statements are made. Then the refutation is heard on air.
I have found that a call to the office of the news director of the local station often stops the extra repetitions of the most hateful stuff.
