No-brain O'Donnell is full of it. President Bush never said anything different than what he did tonight. He has been saying the same thing since Sept.11, 2001.

Would you rather have to pay untold billions to repair this country from future terrorist attacks, or would you rather send billions overseas in an attempt to prevent those attacks from happening on our shores? You can either send the money overseas, or you can spend the money here...but one way or the other, you're going to have to pay.Hmmmm, no I choose option three. Returning this nation to the limits found within the Constitution. Now considering Gillespie has stated earlier this month that the Republican party is no longer for such a move, where does that leave conservatives?

Just joined today so you could voice your NAY, huh? Some things are worth more than money........like, say, destroying terrorists THERE instead of HERE amd freeing oppressed people so they can be role models for other oppressed nations ruled by thugs.

"I think when he was President he was generally a good man."
What was so good about him?

the Dems are sort of like the terrorists and Iraq: lets get them all into one place, taking a stand on this national security issue, and wipe them out. in a way, this is smart politically, because I still do think Bush is vulnerable on the economy.

...We have learned that terrorist attacks are not caused by the use of strength - they are invited by the perception of weakness...Worth repeating!!
The comments between Hannity and Eagleburger, about Bush going to the American people more often, is right on. Most people get it, and someone has to tell it straight. Can't rely on the press.

Amen; Let the Middle East bleed itself white just like happened in the Balkans. Drill in Alaska, pull out of the region and isolate it.

Seattle's KOMO
bore such dramatic frowns before and after, you know they were unhappy. And this surprises you? When I do not have access to cable I listen to the radio.

You know, watching this speech, made me realize that we as a country, were very, very lucky to make it through the 8 yrs. of the Clintons!! Exactly! I think if another 'RAT ends up as Prez (especially one of those types from the far-far left like Dean and Kucinich) I may never leave my house! The country's "give peace a chance" policy and attitude would fling the doors wide open to terrorism on our own soil again.

What I find interesting is that I voted for this man. I've voted straight R for right on 20 years. And because I question his statements all of the sudden, I'm the evil one?
BTW, good night.

It'll be interesting how this plays out in the next few days considering this speech reminds Americans that this is a real war, not some fake televised event such as what played out during the Clinton years.
The concept of 9|11 still seems to escape those who did not truly witness the event. It certainly wasn't anything the average Westerner experiences in one's lifetime.
Therefore, one would assume the Democrats are sawing off the branch they are sitting on and this speech served as one, final, painful warning to save themselves.
Then again, people are stupid and selfish. I have little faith in many.

The Dems don't understand that people -- just like you and I -- are STILL scared to death.....every single day.......they just think we have all moved on. I understand your feelings. I work at a medical center right next to a hospital. Everytime we have a fire drill I immediately think of 9/11 and wonder........
To: Dog
All the Rats have is complaints and negativity. They haven't suggested ONE thing they think we should be doing to increase our security in the US.
