Aw, say "goodnight", friend.
To: kitkat
Thank you, kitkat! Glad we can add something that people actually enjoy reading.
Seems to be a lot of negativism in the nation and FR. We're so lucky in this country.
A man from India was asked why he wanted to move to America. He said because even the poor people were fat!
If we aren't starving, we shouldn't be complaining (too much)_;)

Clean up in aisle 3!

Carter was pathetic...every thing he did was a joke.
Does anyone think his voicing of the North Korea situation has to do with the fact that he is repsonsible for the middle east situation of today as far as Islamic militants are concerned?
Think about it....had he gone after Iran in '79 instead of quivering under his desk only to let a decrepid old man in Iran decide America's every move in the hostage crisis do you really think we'd be in this situation today??
To: Pure_n_Proud_Paleo
$87 Billion. Aye yi yi.
To: Peach
Amen. Carter's wimpish presidency proved to the Arab world that we can be brought to our knees. He furthered his treachery more recently with N. Korea. Good man? -- Hogwash! Carter was terrible for this country! Nobel Peace Prize hogwash! He made that prize as irrelevant as the U.N.

No joke. GWB isn't going to label all of Islam as evil. To do so would be simpleminded. He will, however, use whaterver force he can muster to take down those indivduals and groups that initiate violence against innocents. He is not omnipotent or omniscient, will make mistake, and may lose.
THe general thrust of my comment was that GWB is not inclined to tar with a broad brush, gives individuals the benefit of the doubt, and plays hardball.

Really, where was Biden getting off on that comment? Bush didn't say ANYTHING differently tonight than he's ever said about the war in Iraq or the war on terrorism.Biden read The Guardian's wishful prediction, and thought it unnecessary to hear the speech.

"And the Iranian hostage crisis. NOT a good man at all."
You can thank Mr. Carter for the increase in fanatic, militant Islamists. When he turned his back on the Shah of Iran, it left that country open to being overthrown by the militants that have held it ever since.

I don't think they've "moved on" I think they've moved back to 9/10/01. They want to pretend 9/11 never happened - that's why they want to turn the war in Iraq into VietNam-Mash reruns. Therefore their continued campaign to undermine this President, this military and this country.

Here's a 27 year veteran who's recently returned from Afghanistan. The President said everything that was needed to be said! If we don't continue to press the enemy until he is no more, we will be fighting them on our own streets!
I am continuing to serve, and will return to the fighting when the Country and the President Calls!!!! To the aiders, abetters, comfort givers to the enemy, the media and democommiecRATS, I regard you as my enemy as well! As long as you give aid, abet and give comfort to our enemies, you are my enemies as well! So Howard Dean, John Kerry, John Edwards, Jim McDermott, Richard Gephardt, James Rosen, Mara Liasson, Dan Rather, Peter Jennings, Tom Brokaw, Chris Matthews and others....TAKE A HIKE!!!!

I will cast my vote for a third party candidate or more than likely stay at home. Whatever you do, staying home is the worst option. If everybody who loves freedom, would just cast a vote for a third party who shares their views instead of staying home, we would have a viable third party today.
(And Dick Armey would probably be President ;-)
