Sorry to hear you've been under the weather. Those viruses can be nasty. I had a terrible viral sinus infection all winter. I lost partial hearing in my left ear for a couple of months. I ended up in the emergency room and took three different doses of antibiotics. It finally cleared up last month...just in time for winter to roll around again.

I liked Gettysburg better... but I loved Stonewall Jackson... Stephen Lang did a great job. Then I learned that he played Pickett in Gettysburg. I thought Pickett was very charismatic... so Stephen Lang's stock has gone up considerably in my opinion. What a fantastic actor.

Maybe the GOP will be smart enough in the after-speech commentary to remind talking heads and viewers of the following:A new poll says 71 percent of Americans say the US has done a good job in Iraq since major fighting came to an end.
The Time-CNN poll also finds two in three Americans surveyed say the US was right in going to war with Iraq. But they're split on whether the war was worth the toll it has taken in American lives and other costs; 49 percent said yes, 43 percent said no, and 8 percent were not sure.

All winter? All winter? Oh, man. I hope you're hearing is okay! I have lost all sense of taste and smell -- you'd think I'd be as thin as Audrey Hepburn, but alas...

Fox anchor just asked the Bahgdad correspondent to tell about the successes in Iraq. Excellent!
"Courts coming back, hospitals and schools up, electrcity generally at 50%. Society moving forward and it doesn't make the headlines." Good for the correspondent!

Yeah.......I would agree that you need to be strong emotionally to be able to handle it, but I definitely recommend taking her to see it.
There are such strong human interest and spiritual components, that I would think that even women who don't particularly like 'war movies' would like it.
(I LOVE war movies.......if they don't get too graphic......)

Somebody has to be there with a whip and a chair to keep Juan's head from exploding. Or ours.

Ha! I think Fox has the carrier tape on a special "instant play" setting. They show that clip for the doll, whenever the dems rant about the war, when Kerry spoke, etc.
I think it's pretty funny...like the other day when Kerry announced and they were running their "Fox facts" under him as he talked. (I am not making these up.)
"Speaks French...voted against Gulf War I...voted against B-2 bomber...voted against Robert Bork...member of Skull and Bones..."
HAR!

i'll stop posting about the movie when the speech starts.
Just gave a huge credit in the film to flight attendant Amy Sweeney, who IDs the hijackers with their seat assingments and cell phoned it in.

Earlier today, on FNC, Britt's voice was so gravely (as in gravel,,, not in grave). He coughed and coughed. Tony Snow skipped to Miria, then went back to him. His voice kept cracking. He's got a really nasty something in his throat. I will be suprised if he speaks much tonite.

I finally had to have surgery to get rid of chronic sinus infection some years back. It was worth it.
