This was also stated by a Likud Minister a week ago - that the US has a safety net around terrorist Arafat.

I am sick and tired of Bush coddling that tin horn terrorist Arafat.
A bullet should have been lodged in his skull back in '72, after what he pulled at the Olympics.

Arafat is the only constant in this ridiculous peace process equation during the last 30 years. Numerous presidents and Israeli prime ministers but only one Arafat. Seems to me, if you read the equation of Arafat, you're chances of success are much greater. He's a frickin' terrorist and should be accorded such status by the entire international community. Of course, the euroweenies and the British won't go along with that but so what. Facts is facts. It is way past time for Arafat to go.

"second thoughts"
I certainly hope so. I sent the President a message and told him the only solution is for Israel to have VICTORY!! No other way!!
If the President wants to get re-elected - he better vocally support Israel - and stop listening to Powell.

If W wants to be elected, he better put some fire in Frist's belly or find someone else to work the Senate.

We could probably go back to 1970 when Arafat and his terrorist PFLP hijacked and burned three of our airliners. Had we "brought him to justice" at that time, terrorism might have been a much smaller problem than it is today. I will never understand why we ever recognized that POS as a legitimate leader of anything.

It kind of reminds me of the stupidity of the House
of Hohenzolleren in 1917, sending the sealed train, with
the bolshevic stench, from Zurich to the Finland Station.
The Junkers incubated this bacillus, and injected it into
Mother Russia, and the world was never the same. Pray that
we are not repeating the mistakes of the Kaiser.

Actually, I think it's the other way around - I think Frist is ready to rumble and Bush has been holding him back. However, I have suspected the President's patience is begining to wear very thin. It cannot happen soon enough for me. Time to play HARDBALL!!
