Mr. X, the host of the Friday night horror movies? Boston Coolers? They were scoops of vanilla ice cream in a tall glass of Vernor's ginger ale - probably the best soft drink in the history of the planet. How did it become to be called "Boston?" Growing up there, I hit two of those exchanges: Vinewood and Vermont. The Soup Bowl game at U of D stadium for the Catholic School Championship and the Goodfellow Game at BRIGGS stadium for the City Championship?
