Orrin Hatch addresses immigrants(Illegal aliens)

WASHINGTON--Speaking at a rally of young undocumented immigrants who are urging Congress to allow them to attend public colleges at in-state tuition prices, Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, said the country will "benefit enormously" by opening college classes to the children of people who entered the U.S. illegaly.

"We can choose either to keep these talented young people underground or we can choose to give them a chance to contribute to the United States," Hatch said at a Capitol Hill news conference Thursday to urge support of his "DREAM Act," the Development, Relief, and Education For Alien Minors Act.

The Bill sponsored by the Utah Republican and Sen. Dick Durban, D-Ill., would repeal a section of federal law preventing states from granting in-state tuition rates to non-U.S citizens who do not have proof they entered the country legally.

It also would grant pemanent U.S. residency status to immigrants who came to the United States prior to the age 16, have lived in the country at least five years, are "of good moral character" and earn a college degree, complete at least two years of college, serve in the U.S. miltary or perform community service.

"SNIP"

One of Congress' most outspoken critics of granting benefits of U.S. citizenship to undocumented immigrants, Rep. Tom Tancredo, R-Col., told a political magazine recently that both parties in Congress have been co-opted by a "cult of multiculturalism."

"There is no greater gap betWeen what the people of this country want and what the Congress is going to give them than there is on the issue of immigration...."

The gutless Orin Hatch and more pandering from Republicans. He's been in Congress too long. He is chairman of the judiciary committee and can't get Estrada confirmed, now he advocates illegal alien benefits. Hatch is one of the MAIN reasons Republicans are viewed, by Democraps, as eunichs.

"Speaking at a rally of young undocumented immigrants..."

Stop. He knows they are here illegally. Why aren't they being arrested? Why do they feel so comfortable that they show up in groups demanding subsidized college tuition?
Utah, you know your duty, get rid of Hatch.

If you are a registered Republican or a Registered Democrat you are an enemy of this nation. It is that simple. Register as an Independent or an Un-Affliated voter or pay for being a member of one of these

Elitist career politicians have nothing in common with the people I care about, and it REALLY shows.

Doesn't matter if Dem or Rep.

Hatch made a long winded, somber speech about how lamentable the Estrada situation was in retrospect. I guess he felt compelled to make a useless photo op speech to defend the poor defenseless Hispanic.

PUHlease...

I'll do my best, but the guy has many supporters. If every Republican opposed to illegal immigration in the state would send him a letter (not an email, he doesn't see them ever! Take your letter to the local Hatch offices and have them send it to him. That works.) and tell the jerk to back off and obey the rule of law, I would guess he might just get the message. At least I hope so. He will not get my vote ever again!

Hatch and Estrada both are members of The Federalist Society, which has recently been identified by Hillary as the prime mover orginization behind the VRWC. Her words: "they're trying to roll back the New Deal".

What is it about the term illegal that politicians fail to grasp? Granted most of them have the morals of alley cats (especially democ"rats"), recently it has crossed party lines to republicans.
I'm speaking as a former Canadian who served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps prior to becoming a U.S. citizen. It seems that today you can illegally slip across the border, wait a few years for some type of amnesty program ... and voila ... you're on the road to U.S. citizenship. Politicians have gone to great lengths in recent years to cheapen the honor of becoming a U.S. citizen legitimately. After 8 years of Clinton the affliction has stained most of those who serve in Washington ... both democrat & republican.

Why stop with just Hispanics? There's a lot of other people from other countries who would love to come here and stay.

Let's let in 500 million illegal Chinese, 500 million illegal Indians, 50 million illegal Pakistanis, 50 million illegal Nigerians, 50 million illegal Indonesians, all the Palestinians who want a homeland and anybody else that wants to come to this country and enjoy the weather and a nice, free education.

That's the only way this will ever be "fair" and a true multicultural solution the Globalists would love!
