Yes, the druggies, who think they know who did it, might well be all abuzz.

That's the problem with druggies --- they're not going to want to go to the police and reveal they're druggies and have an association with certain types --- plus they wouldn't be the socially responsible types who worry about society. They're more likely to worry only where their next fix will come from --- and they might not like to bite the hand that feeds them.

and was known for getting "real" pizza from the many "hole in the wall" ma and pa shops as compared to the cookie cutter variety of today's corporate producers.

I think this is true --- but what about the hole-in-the-wall pizza places where the pizza isn't very good. We had one near here and someone who uses cocaine told me that was what they were really about --- of course that's just heresay --- I never bought cocaine so I wouldn't know first hand ---- but what that person told me makes sense --- no one questions that kind of traffic --- or deliveries with pizza shops which might make them the perfect front for drug dealing.

I'm not even convinced that there were even any pizzas sent with him in the first place. They never found them.

That's interesting --- if he was trying to deliver pizzas, they should have still been with him.

I agree. If Wells owed money, or had seen something which could incriminate some criminal organization's members, I think they would and could make an example out of him, putting the word out to their druggie customers, w/o fear that the pathetic druggie customers would say a word in public.

All I know is, the idea that a pizza place could be a front for drug dealing is not off-the-wall. While pondering this case, I thought of a case here in which a pizza place was indeed a front for drug dealing. What are the odds that there would even be such a case, right here? If it weren't more common than supposed, I mean?

1. Did ya call my boss?

2. Got a cigarette?

Now those are things I'd be thinking about if I had a bomb around my neck.

Did anyone of you think this guy would be a smoker from looking at his photo?? Wonder if he had cigarettes on him or in the car??
