California: Tancredo to introduce bill to cut off highway funds to California

Congressman Tom Tancredo (R, Colorado) appeared on the Rick Roberts radio show this morning and said that as soon as Gray Davis signs SB60 (related story on FR here), he will introduce a bill in congress to cut highway funds to states that grant driver's licenses to people who are here illegally. It will take a long while to become enacted, if ever, but at least it's something.
While I welcome help from any quarter, I think it's disgraceful that we have to rely on a congressman from another state to do even this much. A caller to the show said that she contacted the office of congressman Randy "Duke" Cunningham (R, California) and was told that Cunningham would oppose such a bill if it were introduced. I always thought Cunningham was more of a standup guy, but it looks like even he is caving in to this crap.

I keep hearing that but haven't seen a source. Got source? Doug McIntyre on KABC radio mentioned it this morning. I have no other source. He only said it would not be considered a valid form of ID, nothing about being arrested.

Thanks!

Ya know screw Tancredo! How rude you are! Tom Tancredo is one of the only politicians in Washington who agrees with 70% of America regarding illegal immigration. Would you rather he cave in to Mexico like the rest of them? Screw you.

Tancredo for President! I'LL DRINK TO THAT!

"Colorado has legislation that will no longer accept CA drivers license as a valid proof of identification."
I keep hearing that but haven't seen a source. Got source? Notice that you don't say California drivers will be arrested if caught driving on a CA license. Not accepting the license as proof of citizenship is understandable in light of recent events. Arresting people was BS from the git.
I DIDN'T SAY CO HAD LEGISLATION...I SAID THAT IF CA PASSED THE LAW THAT CO WOULD NOT ACCEPT CA LICENSE, SO IF YOU WERE STOPPED IN CO THAT YOU WOULD LEAVE YOURSELF OPEN TO AN ARREST BY DRIVING WITHOUT A RECOGNIZED DRIVER'S LICENSE...I CAN'T BE MUCH CLEARER THAN THAT...NO LINK BUT YOU ARE WELCOME TO USE YOUR SEARCH ENGINE...

That's dumb. 10 years after fed highway money is removed. The ports of LA and Frisco will be ghosttowns and it will take an SUV or a Donkey cart just to drive the freeway's.

If this is passed, everyone who drives in California needs to take a deep breath and forget for a few hours what they would like to do to Davis and his rats.
You need to look at the future liability of driving in California.
Most of the new drivers will not be able to read English, will not have had safe driving courses, will be passed in mass with no fear of failing, and last but not least they will be uninsured. They will be very dangerous and uninsured drivers.
I spent a good hour talking about this with my insurance agent's main lady this past Tuesday. Then, I talked to my agent and this lady on Thursday.
Here are their recommendations re insurance ASAP:
Maximum uninsured motorist coverage. Very Low Cost.
Maximum total liability covered in case of a multiple accident caused by one of these uninsured illegal aliens. Again cost is low.
You can pay for the above by raising your deductible.
If you own a home of value in California, get an umbrella insurance policy to prevent someone from owning your house after a car accident.
The odds of being hit by an uninsured driver will go up each day after this POS bill is signed.
The scary part is what these insurance ladies told me re high speed accidents in freeways and other fast roads. If one of these uninsured clowns hits you and kills himself. He drives your car into 3 or more cars. Then this secondary accident caused multiple injuries, a couple of deaths and a hundred thousand $ in vehicle loss and a lot of expensive medical care for the others involved. The lawyers will probably come after you for what you own. The other 3 or more drivers were just minding their business when you hit them in a secondary action you will probably be the guy/gal to sue in a wreck like this.
The added cost is not that much, and I feel that it is worth while now if you drive in California after the criminal does this evil/vile deed. Having an million $+ umbrella insurance policy has been advisable in sue happy California for decades. Now it is even more advisable. We have had one for decades and costs about $300 per year.
Call your insurance agent asap and talk to them.
Please ping your California Freeper buddies and contact your friends and relatives living and driving in California about this situation. I own no stock in an Insurance Company.
Then, vote yes on the recall no to any Rat.

linkOh and guess what Californians, Colorado has already stipulated that if CA passes this bill into law that Colorado will no longer honor CA driver's licenses...which means you guys get pulled over in CO you will go directly to J A I L ! and you cannot collect $200... VOTE4MCLCINTOCK..
Is what you said. "Stipulated", is that a new way to pass a law in Colorado? You didn't say "subject to arrest". "You will go directly to jail" is ridiculous and your use of this issue to somehow discredit Arnold is just as ridiculous.

You better make sure that umbrella goes over your Homeowners Insurance liability as well, in case one of those illegals decides to sleep in you yard and your dog tries to eat him/her, or he/she falls in your pool with the ph too high and all their skin falls off!!!
(actually happened up here to a retired doctor who didn't hire somebody to clean and tend his pool)

The American Southwest is going to be Kosovo X 1,000.
Once upon a time the majority Serb population of the Serbian state of Kosovo thought that it was a good deal to let in a flood of Albanians. Look where "cheap Albanian labor" got them!!

That actually happened years ago. Our dog bit an illegal alien in a spot where he had to go to a Urologist.
It is a long story, but this happened over 25 years ago. Our insurance agent was a Marine with zero tolerance. The insurance paid for a couple of visits to the Urologist. When the sorely bitten one and his lawyers tried to go big time, he was turned in as an illegal alien. Case was forgotten.
Of course now that wouldn't happen.

I was kind of looking for a Bill number or something from Colorado. I don't disbelieve McClintock but there should be a better source than his saying it is so. I'm still searching the web...
To: Grampa Dave
I slipped over to Channel 19 Univision and Watch the soon to be RECALLED CREEP sign the bill!!! I want everyone to know and remember that Commander and Chief of the California Highway Patrol Spike Helmick was right at his side!!! A real pubic servant!!!
