Unwanted Graphics On The "My Comments" Page

[history]
Hi all.
We had a visit from another disruptor, who has decided to grace us with postings of a rather vulgar image (to put it mildly).
We have received a few mails from people asking if we could delete the picture from their "My Comments" page. At the moment, we cannot. In the interim, what you can do if one is in your "My Comments" page is to set the "My Comments" page to "brief" rather than "full". This will hide the content of the posts, thereby hiding the graphic. To switch the setting, just click on the word "Brief" near the top right of your "My Comments" page, or click here.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Additional advice: those who have Mozilla browsers can "right click" on the picture and select "Block images from this server". Next time the page is reloaded, you don't have to look at that garbage, just a nice blank spot. 57 posted on 09/05/2003 11:41 AM EDT by Willie Green (Go Pat Go!!!)
I am pretty sure Mac users with iCab can do something similar.

He posted it in replies to specific people on diffrent threads. I was one of the blessed. :(
I'd also like to thank Ragtime Cowgirl, for sending me so many pings this afternoon that the offending image was driven right off my Comments page in almost no time. (whew!)

Any chance that folks are just getting their passwords stolen? Maybe andrew_marczyk is a good guy with a simple password. I suppose you can tell, huh?

This thread is starting to remind me of Bluebeard. They more we talk about not opening that door, the more they're compelled to open that door.

I'd almost like to see it die, so others won't try to go see it.

Lol! My pleasure, h. You, too, can fight trolls while fixing dinner. Just send $19.99 to 1-800-GRO-UPDU.
Thank you for the warning. You know what kind of SPAM the left sends in response to offensive mailings re. our honorable troops. I have not (yet) begun to forward them to the DNC (they'd probably call their sisters to say thanks for the 'gift').

Dang, my curiousity is really up. But the picture sounds so grotesque from what everybody is saying. I better leave this alone. Curiousity killed the cat.Tubgirl has been around the net for years and is quite infamous (thus proving that DU disruptors are not only pathetic, they also have no originality). If you really want to see the photo, just go to Google, type in "tubgirl" and hit "I'm feeling lucky." (If you're using a toolbar to search, the first result is the one you're looking for.) Other than that, all I can say is: 1) Do not do it at work. 2) Do not do it while you're eating. 3) Do not expect kinky porn. It makes the wildest porn look like a Bugs Bunny cartoon.

I recently switched to Firebird, and am quite happy with it. Just wish they integrated the Java runtime stuff better.

I'm happy about it. I first saw this months ago and it makes me feel better to know that others have that image scarred in their brains, too. I'm not a nice person that way, I guess.

I was afraid that, for the next day at least, I'd have to be real, real careful scrolling.
Ragtime Cowgirl fix! :D

I'm so traumatized that I'm hoping the woman in the photo gets e.coli to teach her a lesson.
I think we can all feel safe in blaming Madonna for this.</s

Now, now - what Madonna and Brittney were doing was simply the naturally sensuous things that happen when women get together.
;)
This, on the other hand, is the fault of RINOs.

(Mods if this is considered offensive, i apologize....) I think that falls under the "considered offensive, but still funny as He!!" category!
