Also, there were far more glaring oversights. I mean how could you do a Tennessee thread and not include a detailed examination on the life of former President James K. Polk? Pray tell, why?? Just because he served in the Tennessee legislature and went on to become Governor, and then, as a Representative in Congress, became Speaker of the House....... and then went on to become President? Heck, he was born in North Carolina. I was going to do my "detailed examination" of him when I got to NC. SHEESH! LOL!
