My favorite example of this moral myopia comes from a few years ago. Rep. Charles Rangel, D-N.Y., said of the Contract With America: "Hitler wasn't even talking about doing these things." And his colleague, Rep. Major Owens declared of the new Republican leadership in the House, "These are people who are practicing genocide with a smile; they're worse than Hitler."

Rangel quotes should leave the listener with their eyes bulging and their mouth hanging open. How can he say such things, and still be re-elected?

What has been making me angry is that all over NYC there are little swasticas spraypainted everywhere with "=Bush" following them. Sorry, but if someone were to go around painting swasticas anywhere in the city without Bush's name they would be immediately cleaned off, and the police would launch a hate-crime investigation to find the perp.

WTF does BBG think he is doing? By not treating these hate-symbols seriously, he is condoning the statement that these little pukes are making. It enrages me everytime i see them.

At every event protesting war, Bush, America, this, that and the other thing, one can find pictures of various administration officials in SS garb or bearing Hitler mustaches.

The current issue of City Link magazine here in South Florida features a painting of George W. Bush dressed in a Storm Trooper uniform and holding the Nazi flag. I couldn't find it in the online version so perhaps I'll scan it from the hard copy version and post here if you want.
