now if only CMT would get completely out of country music, we could get back to having plain old country music videos without the dazzle, silicone, and the back-up singer to the big "star".....

fewer live episodes: only 26 in the first year, down from more than 40 live shows a year on CMT...

that's not good - only one live Opry every two weeks, probably reruns the other weeks. I suppose MWL will still be shown on CMT - and this all probably means that Katie Cook won't be hosting the live Opry show after it moves to GAC.

I feel badly about hearing this. My Mom is in a nursing home, and she so looks forward to seeing this show every Saturday night...what a shame.
