Part four of an exclusive four-part series of excerpts.

President Clinton's first opportunity to defeat Osama bin Laden came late in the afternoon of March 3, 1996, in an Arlington, Virginia, hotel suite. It was the first attempt by the Clinton Administration to deal decisively with the arch-terrorist. It lasted less than 30 minutes.

Folks, buy this book and the book by Gerry Posner, "Why America Slept". Mr. Posner, a Democrat who voted twice for Bill Clinton, now thinks he is the traitor we all know he is. It is very important that these two books receive wide acceptance among the people and the media. Bill Clinton and his wife need to be removed from the political radar screen because they are both Traitors to the USA! Let them pass the rest of their filthy lives in the black hole of obsurity from whence they came! The Clintons, murderers of American innocents!

Over the next few months and years, Sudan would repeatedly try to provide its voluminous intelligence files on bin Laden to the CIA, the FBI, and senior Clinton Administration officials — and would be repeatedly rebuffed through both formal and informal channels. This was one of the greatest intelligence failures of the Clinton years — the result of orders that came from the Clinton White House.

Here is another revealing gilmpse at the culture of the Clinton White House. This is more than an intelligence failure, it is a witting error which can be explained only by an obsessive narcisissm connected to personal political ambition and a world view that is marvelously naive.

This stuff was too hot to permit a paper trail into the White House. Its presence there would have clearly laid responsibility at Clinton's watch. To meet that responsibility, he would have had to take action which might conceivably affect his re-election chances. They chose career over country.

If you think that is too harsh because Clinton could not have forseen the violence of 9/11, then consider that his whole foreign policy was driven by domestic political calculations and terrorism just did not register on the calculus.
