WASHINGTON (CNN) -- A Department of Homeland Security advisory issued Thursday warns that al Qaeda is working on plans to hijack airliners flying between international points that pass near or over the continental United States.
A Department of Homeland Security official said most of the flights fitting this description originate in Canada, and that U.S. officials have been working with Canada over the past month to ensure it is improving screening and other security measures.

What you say may be true, but I think biologicals will be used. A muslim fanatic will volunteer to be infected with smallpox, ebola, Botulinum, Antrax, or Aflatoxin, sneak in across the Canadian border in to NYC and now you have a major problem. Outbreak!

I didn't even think about that but that's a total possibility.

If they succeed in any of these attacks, I predict a military draft and than we'll march WW2 style through all the countries in the Middle East. Yep, I agree . . . But not for about 50,000 years when the land cools down enough to walk on.

Plus Alberta is pro US so it shouldn't be much of a problem to get them to join up with you. Em, is it alright to ask them to shed their liberals first?

They have. Same with BC. Most of the MPs are Canadian Alliance which supported the War in Iraq.

Racial profile all Arabs. It's cheap and effective.
Oh, I forgot, that would be politically incorrect. How silly of me to suggest something that is PC.

And what about Mexico? I would think security there is probably a hundredfold worse than it is up here in Canukistan.

... and the rest of you paranoics....
You think nuking Canada is going to get rid of your terrorist problems?? LMAO
So...after that... why don't you just run a fence down the west and east coast of the United States...
Oh wait... you already tried that with Mexico... and they still keep getting through...
Gee... I guess you better flatten the rest of the planet to be entirely safe, and hope no terrorists are already on US soil... aye? ; )

Interesting. I've known some refugee Albertans here in The Peoples' Soviet of Washington, aka The Evergreed State and they've been delightfully conservative. OTOH, most people I've known from BC are, em, rather left-wing. More conservative than Ithacans, but left-wing.

***Ummmm .. we can deny air space for Canada to fly***
We're on the same page, Mo. I wonder if we used this as an inducement to Canadian officials.

"just run a fence down the west and east coast of the United States..." If we make the fence out of bacon it just might work.

I never said nuking Canada was a solution. I don't want that to happen, atleast until after I get out.

I think they will go after the target that the 4th plane didn't hit the last time.

There alot of left wingers in BC especially in Vancouver. Outside Vancouver (like 20 minutes away from vancouver) the people are alot more right wing. The people in Alberta are alot better as is the government which is why my family who can't get out of Canada are heading there.

Ya it could but it's not like the radio activity will subside over night. Plus I'm not sure about if the oil would or could burn off.
Are you kidding, or do you not know what radiation is, or how it works in reality?
I need to check before I am forced to go into "Radiation 101"!
