Then where's the damn "nuclear" option that we kept hearing about? Drag Cheney's butt into the chair and force the issue. They want to play dirty, then play dirty. Just get it done. They're so damn concerned with being concilatory and "working together."

The Dems have proven that they don't want that. This is the most devisive batch of Democrats in more than a generation. And instead of finding a way to get the job done, Frist wants to play games.

If the Dems want to filibuster, then damn it, force the filibuster. Make 'em read the DC phone book. Make 'em read the Post Classifieds for all I care! But ACT LIKE YOU'RE IN CHARGE FOR ONCE!

You think this crap is gonna stop? Owen is next, then the judge from California! And just wait! The SCOTUS is ready to disgorge one from the bench. And do you honestly think that the Dems will sit still for that? Hell, naw! They're gonna scream bloody murder, and they'll get what they want because we're being "honorable."

Well, Miguel Estrada bent over, too. HE QUIT on Bush and Frist. Quite frankly, I have lost some of the respect I had for him over his call.

He's gotta get some of the blame for this, too. He LET Neas, Leahy, and Schumer roll him over. Had he stuck it out, had he taken HIS case to the American people, we might have put more heat on `em and switched a couple of votes.

There's plenty of blame to go around.
