Dishonest? I'm not going to simply vote for Arnold because he is an actor. In fact, that gives me even more reason for concern. Let's face it. We don't need another Governor in there like Gray Davis. So far, Arnold has not inspired my confidence in him. I find it odd that Arnold does not have time to participate in a debate, yet he is going to have time to be Governor? Right now, and as I mentioned in my previous post, I would like Arnold to step out and put forth some of his Republican ideals. Currently, he hasn't done so. Right now McClintock looks like the best chance we've got. Prove me wrong, I would love to see it.

Thank you very much. I didn't see the thread, I just got a bunch of emails about it and was pinged to it.
And I do agree, it doesn't get much lower than that.

I didn't notice the thread when it was up, but just the title and comment alone were beneath contempt :-(

Wonder who the idiot who did that supports? Davis? Remember, a Democrat recently threw a cream pie at Ralph Nader. Throwing food seems to be a pastime of some Democrats.
It's good that Schwarzenegger just ignored it. I think all performers learn to ignore unscripted errors, since it looks better on camera not to be flustered by minor distractions.
Still, it's too bad he won't participate in today's civil debate, where there wouldn't be flying food.

I doubt it. McClintock supporters have more class than that ;-) Yes, we see that daily.

Your #29 was beautifully done and I, too, am looking forward to the next poll :-)
Regarding egg throwing, it could absolutely be a nasty leftie convinced of the slogan that Republicans are "stealing the election". Arnold is anti-union, though, and it could be one of those kind and gentle union-type folks that attacked our Freepers not too long ago...

Thanks! And I like your tag line.
In all honesty, I've tried to remain neutral on the recall, to see how the various campaigns develop. But the sniping by the anti-Arnold crowd is making it harder to seriously consider his opponents.

Regarding the repeated accusation that Arnold will simply declare the fiscal crisis an "emergency", I saw an account several days ago where he was asked specifically that question and he said he wouldn't. This just goes to show that the anti-Arnold folks at best aren't listening, and at worst, are incapable of hearing.

I have a lot of respect and admiration for the way Arnold handled it, going by what everyone said on the thread.
Wish he would participate in more than one debate. I still have no tangible idea of where he wants to take Ca.

I have always supported McClintock, but you wouldn't catch me approving what happened today, and I would think you'd have a hard time finding anyone here who thinks it's cool to throw food at people. Except in the high school cafeteria...

If it wasn't for Arnold this "recall" would be a race between Davis and Bustamante. Keep dreaming. We have plenty of real Republicans in this state. Arnold's candidacy may have ruined all the work we put in to get the recall on the ballot. Hell, he won't even show up at the debate today!

So he attacks "special interests." All politicians say they are against "special interests." But can he name EXAMPLES of special interests he's against?
