CONTROLLING AIRSPACE — U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Liza Thaggard, an air traffic controller with the 447th Expeditionary Operational Support Squadron, controls the airspace from the radar approach control at Baghdad International Airport. The control operation is responsible for 100 miles of airspace around the airport and controls all air traffic into, through, and out of the area. Somebody's Momma should be real proud right about now...God Bless all the men and women who are out there everyday defending our Freedom and Libery.
