The Democrats have always been more skillful at breaking the election laws than the Republicans. They have a virtual monopoly on dead voters, illegal aliens, foreign contributions, and church groups bussed straight to the polls by their pastors. Naturally they will also do better bending the soft money regulations.

"Democrats are poised to reap the benefits of soft-money contributions next year, even though the new campaign finance law bans candidates for federal office from raising such unlimited money directly." Why am I not surprised?

Bull shiite. The Hill only writes good thing about Republicans when they are forced to. IT is a rat loving magazine - so I say bull shiite. Maybe the rats could publicly announce that they were going to break the law when they ran things. They don't run things. Does anybody think guys like Delay et al will stand by and watch the rats cheat?

I thought dems always led in soft money - it was hard money where the repubs steal the show - what is that percentage - 3:1 or something like that!
