Willfully Blind: U.S. Ignoring Saudi Terror Links
By Dale Hurd

Historians will one day question why the U.S. spent so much to fight a war on terror, but was unwilling to face up to a major supporter of terrorism in the world.

CBN.com – Some believe that 28 blacked-out pages in a recent Congressional report says it all. The pages, reportedly showing Saudi government ties to 9-11, were blacked out by orders of the White House.

Senators who read the redacted material said there was no need for it to be classified, at least from a national security standpoint.

But the White House refused to release it, leading to speculation that something else was at play--perhaps a courtesy had been extended between two families said to be very close--the Saudis and the Bushes.

A story in the New Yorker magazine, based on an interview with Saudi Ambassador Prince Bandar, portrayed Bandar as being so close to the Bushes that he's, "like a member of the Bush family" and also, "as close as a brother" to Secretary of State Colin Powell.

The New Yorker also claimed Bush's Middle East "Roadmap" is the result of a Saudi ultimatum delivered to the president a few weeks before 9-11.

According to the magazine, Bandar told National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice that because of U.S. support for Israel against the Palestinians, Saudi Arabia threatened a break in relations.

President Bush's support for a Palestinian state was announced a few weeks later, something no U.S. president had done before.

But Saudi influence goes beyond the White House.

In his book, 'Sleeping with the Devil,' ex-CIA agent Robert Baer says a lot of past and present administration officials have benefited from financial gifts and sweetheart business deals with the Saudis, and may in fact be beholden to them.

Bush family friend and former Secretary of State James Baker's Texas law firm is defending Saudi Arabia in a trillion dollar lawsuit against the kingdom filed by family members of the victims of 9-11.

And the Carlyle Group, made up of Baker and other former members of the first Bush Administration advises the kingdom on financial matters.

It is mostly Saudi Arabians killing our soldiers on a daily basis and setting off these bombs in Iraq.

More and more Saudis are pouring into Iraq to every day to add to ranks of terrorists.

When are we going to wake up and deal with the root of the poisonous weed instead of just clipping it's leaves?

Saudi Prince Muhammad Al-Faysal said:
Quote: "Suuckers" Simply incapable of fighting real battles against real people who do not roll over and play dead on que."

He then went on to call the occupetion of Iraq "colonization", "unacceptable" and "contemptible."

The Saudi government have given Palestinian terrorist groups about a billion dollars per year since 1998.

This quote from Saudi King Faud in 1993:
Quote: "I summon my blue-eyed slaves anytime it pleases me.
I command America to send me their braves soldiers to die for me.
Anytime I clap my hands a stupid genie called the American Ambassador appears to do my bidding.
When the Americans die in my service, their bodies are frozen in metal boxes by the U.S. Embassy, and American planes carry them away as if they never existed.
Truly, America is my favorite slave." Un-quote!

Don't you just love these people?

What could these people possibly have that makes us so beholden to them?
I think we all know the answer.

well, its nice to see the truth stated so clearly. the wahabist regieme in Saudi Arabia is the root and branch of the islamist tree. the root, because it spreads its insane religious beliefs by funding mosques worldwide to teach wahabism. the branch, because it actively sponsors terrorism world wide either directly by paying the hamas bills and probably far more extensively utilizing elaborate money laundering schemes.
