This cartoonist risks alienating the fascist left base.

La Cucaracha is a syndicated strip. Last I heard it's printed in about sixty newspapers. So it's not like he drew this up just for The Bee.

The paper, however, does have the responsibility to screen out patently offensive strips before publishing each day's comics page.

Hey they don't call them yellow dog democrats for nothing.

They've voted for the dead. They've voted for rapists, murderers, and child molestors. I'm sure the Gorebot without his lifelike synth-skin will hardly phase them.

I was surprised when I saw Lalo's syndicated strip. My thought was this is a political cartoonist, why does he have syndicated strip?

Usually, I haven't any problem with political commentary in comic strips. Doonesbury, Boondocks and La Cucharacha don't really bother me at all.

This morning the cartoon Bizarro had a caption entitled "Antique Viewpoints Roadshow" and the antique viewpoint up for appraisal was regarding the person's viewpoint on gay marriage. The person's viewpoint was worthless because it was so antique. Needless to say, I was livid!

One of the many reasons I canceled my subscrition to the SF Chronical was the cartoons always showing Republicans in white KKK sheets or with swastikas.

That's disgusting. If the opposite was in effect(ie about Bustamante with the punchline, "If helps that his dad is a Communist.") the racist klaxon will have been all over the Primetimes and it would have been found to somehow have been sponsered by the RNC.

There is no humor at all in that alleged "comic", only hatred.

This would-be character assassin has just done his part to galvanize the Republicans in California, and gone beyond the call.

It will be very interesting to see where this goes.

That's the way children argue. They call names.

This is why the Republicans get their @$$e$ handed to them in close elections, they fight fire with water pistols and claim they are superior for having the principles to lose.

Oh, by the way, vote McClintock...

I guess it is only a matter of years before some of Al Jazeera's antisemetic political comics get syndicated

You think it's going to take that long?

The left is hell-bent on claiming that every evil in the world came from the right side of the political spectrum. Actual facism is right-wing, but the truth (and you will NEVER hear liberals admit this) is that Hitler was far more marxist than facist.

Wasn't it the hawkish foreign policy embraced by conservative Republicans today that brought Nazism and totalitarianism to its knees? Yeah, that's what I thought.

I can't wait to send them an email about this.

"taking responsibility, and confessing that he's "made some mistakes."

Yeah, he has 'been a good gov, and wants a second chance'. That is almost like "I did not have sex with that woman, and I promise not to do it again."
